An electrophoresis display device includes an element substrate (first substrate); a counter substrate (second substrate) arranged facing the element substrate; an electrophoresis layer arranged between the element substrate and the counter substrate and which includes a dispersion liquid which contains electrophoretic particles and a dispersion medium in which the electrophoretic particles are dispersed; a dividing wall arranged to partition the electrophoresis layer into a plurality of cells; and a sealing layer arranged between the counter substrate and the dividing wall. The sealing layer has a modulus of elasticity at 25&#xb0; C. of 1 MPa or more to 100 MPa or less.

A display sheet has a display layer, a first electrode on one side of the display layer, a second electrode on another side of the display layer, and an electrode protection layer between the display layer and the first electrode. The display layer has a partition structure dividing the display layer into a plurality of regions and a liquid dispersion filling the individual regions. The electrode protection layer and the partition structure are integrally formed and both mainly composed of an electroconductive polymer.

An electrophoretic display includes an electrophoretic layer arranged in each pixel region partitioned by a partition member disposed between a first electrode and a second electrode that are arranged on the inner sides of a pair of substrates. The partition member has bottom portions laminated on the first electrode and partition walls joined to the bottom portions. The partition walls partition the pixel region. The bottom portions each have a protrusion.
