A system communicatively coupled with a vehicle is disclosed. The system may include a detection unit configured to measure sound in proximity to a vehicle tire, and a processor communicatively coupled with the detection unit. The processor may be configured to obtain inputs from the detection unit, and identify a slow leakage in the vehicle tire based on the inputs. The processor may be further configured to output a notification responsive to a slow leakage identification. The system may be a part of the vehicle or may be part of a user device communicatively coupled to the vehicle.

Slow leak detection systems and methods

A vehicle including an ultra-wide band (UWB) transceiver is disclosed. The UWB transceiver may be configured to operate in a first mode and a second mode. The UWB transceiver may be configured to perform phone-as-a-key (PaaK) localization in the first mode and radar sensing in the second mode. The vehicle may further include a processor configured to activate the UWB transceiver in the first mode. The processor may receive a trigger signal to switch the UWB transceiver from the first mode to the second mode. Responsive to receiving the trigger signal, the processor may cause the UWB transceiver to transmit a radar pulse signal and receive a radar response signal reflected from a target located inside the vehicle. Based on the response signal, the processor may determine a sitting area profile and an occupant presence on a sitting area, and perform sitting area adjustment.

Systems and methods for ultra-wide band based vehicle sensing

A wheel motor compensation system is for a vehicle. The vehicle has a wheel motor and a tire coupled to the wheel motor. The system includes a hybrid wireless tire sensor (HWTS) coupled to an interior of the tire, a processor electrically connected to the wheel motor, and a memory. The memory has instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations including gathering real time data with the HWTS, and utilizing the real time data to compensate the wheel motor so that preferred torque is applied to the tire.

The memory has instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations including gathering real time data with the HWTS, and utilizing the real time data with the drive mode selector to determine a preferred drive mode.

A theft detection system for a vehicle is provided. The theft detection system includes a hybrid wireless tire sensor (HWTS) coupled to an interior of a tire of the vehicle, a processor, and a memory. The memory has instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations including detecting a change in voltage across the HWTS responsive to a change in deformation of the tire, and determining, based on the change in deformation of the tire, if a theft is occurring.

Vehicle wheel theft detection systems and methods using wheel sensor data

Low-power vehicle sentinel systems and methods are disclosed herein. An example method includes obtaining electromagnetic signals in a target area surrounding a vehicle. The electromagnetic signals can be obtained from electromagnetic elements mounted to the vehicle. The method can include determining attributes or behaviors of an object in the target area based on the electromagnetic signals and executing a response measure based on the attributes or behaviors of the object.
