The push-to-connect fitting includes a connector body, a sealing member, a grab ring, a cartridge, a retainer sleeve, a plurality of latches, and an interference portion. The sealing member is configured to form a sealing engagement with a fluid conduit. The grab ring includes a plurality of teeth configured for coupling to the fluid conduit. The retainer sleeve is received over at least part of the cartridge and is received over at least part of the connector body. The plurality of latches are located on the retainer sleeve and are configured to secure the retainer sleeve to the connector body to facilitate retention of the sealing member, the grab ring, and the cartridge. The interference portion is configured to engage the retainer sleeve to substantially prevent rotation of the retainer sleeve relative to the connector body.

Plumbing fitting

A push-to-connect fitting including a connector body, a sealing member, a grab ring, a cartridge, a retainer sleeve, a plurality of latches, and an interference portion. The sealing member is configured to form a sealing engagement with a fluid conduit. The grab ring includes a plurality of teeth configured for coupling to the fluid conduit. The retainer sleeve is received over at least part of the cartridge and is received over at least part of the connector body. The plurality of latches are located on the retainer sleeve and are configured to secure the retainer sleeve to the connector body to facilitate retention of the sealing member, the grab ring, and the cartridge. The interference portion is configured to engage the retainer sleeve to substantially prevent rotation of the retainer sleeve relative to the connector body.

The present application relates to connectors with an indicator feature for providing visibility within a connector body. The connectors include a connector body made of either a transparent or opaque material to provide visibility inside the connector body. The connector body defines a zone of indication that provides visual indication of two positions of the conduit. A first position of the conduit includes a position wherein the conduit is inserted beyond a seal portion of the connector but not fully inserted to a predetermined depth. And, a second position of the conduit includes a position wherein the conduit is sealed and fully inserted within the connector body to the predetermined depth (e.g., the predetermined depth includes a depth where an end of the conduit engages a conduit stop of the connector body).

Plumbing connector

A tube fitting for connection to a tube includes a main body structure and a tube liner. The main body structure is configured to receive an end of the tube and fluidly connect the tube to another component. The tube liner is positioned at least partially within the main body structure and is configured to extend into the tube. The main body structure and the tube liner are configured such that, when the tube is fully inserted into the tube fitting, the end of the tube is positioned at a predetermined depth within the tube fitting, and the main body structure and the tube liner cooperate together to provide an audible indication to indicate that the tube has been fully inserted into the tube fitting.

A connector for a fluid line includes a sleeve having a hollow portion at least partway therethrough. The sleeve includes an engaging portion. A collet having an engaging part is secured to the engaging portion. A grab part has one or more teeth configured to retain the fluid line, and the teeth are located in the hollow portion. A locking part is provided having a locking portion, and the locking part is configured to move from a first position to a second position where the locking portion locks with a locking piece to assist with forming a fluid seal with the fluid line.
