A hearing device charger including a charger housing and a hearing device support post, associated with the charger housing, including a top wall, with a top recess that extends a first distance in a first direction from an open end to a closed end and is configured to receive a portion of the hearing device housing, and a side wall that extends away from the top wall in the first direction and defines a support post outer perimeter and a support post outer recess that extends inwardly from the support post outer perimeter and extends a second distance away from the top wall in the first direction that is greater than the first distance and is configured to receive the hearing device removal handle. A transmitter coil may be associate with the hearing device support post, and a power supply may be operably connected to the transmitter coil.

Hearing device chargers

A hearing system having a hearing device, including a receiver antenna assembly with a receiver core having a relatively high magnetic permeability and a receiver coil wound around the receiver core, operably connected to a rechargeable power source, and a hearing device charger, including a transmitter antenna assembly, with a transmitter core having a relatively high magnetic permeability and a transmitter coil wound around the transmitter core, operably connected to a power supply. The respective configurations of the hearing device and the hearing device charger may be such that when the hearing device is in a charging position on the hearing device charger, the receiver core and the transmitter core together provides a closed loop path for magnetic flux.

A method of monitoring state of health of a rechargeable battery () comprised within a hearing device () is provided, the rechargeable battery () being adapted to provide energy for electronic components () of the hearing device (), the method comprising the steps of: dividing a usage time of the hearing device () into time slots, determining a number of full equivalent charges applied to the rechargeable battery () in each of the time slots, and determining a performance level of the rechargeable battery () in dependence on the number of full equivalent charges per time slot. Furthermore, a hearing device adapted to perform the method and an arrangement with the hearing device are provided.

An exemplary method of compensating for a circuit offset error to a measure of a battery voltage of a rechargeable battery of an electronic device is described wherein the battery powers an electronic circuitry of the device and the electronic circuitry introduces the circuit offset error to the measure of the battery voltage. A corresponding electronic device is also described.
