The filter head outer wall extends around the filter head inner wall. The filter head inner wall and the filter head outer wall collectively define a filter head channel. The filter cartridge includes a filter cartridge shell and a filter element. The filter cartridge shell has a filter cartridge coupling surface that is configured to be coupled to the filter head coupling surface. The filter cartridge shell defines a filter cartridge opening.
