A vehicle includes a bumper beam and a bumper fascia that covers the bumper beam. An energy absorption member includes a first laterally positioned leg including a mounting flange connected to the bumper beam and a second laterally positioned leg including a mounting flange connected to the bumper beam. The first and second laterally positioned legs are located at opposite sides of a forward facing surface and are spaced-apart from each other.

Vehicles having internal body cavity seals and methods of assembling the same are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a vehicle includes a vehicle structural member, an exterior vehicle body panel that is coupled to the vehicle structural member and is spaced apart from the vehicle structural member at an internal body cavity, and a compressible sealing member that is positioned in the internal body cavity such that the compressible sealing member is concealed from an exterior of the vehicle. The compressible sealing member is coupled to at least one of the vehicle structural member or the exterior vehicle body panel and is compressed from an uninstalled thickness such that the compressible sealing member contacts both the vehicle structural member and the exterior vehicle body panel.

A motor vehicle includes a first side member having first lower and upper darts. The motor vehicle also includes a second side member parallel with and spaced apart from the first side member, the second side member having second lower and upper darts. The upper darts are positioned between the lower darts and end portions of the respective first or second side members. The motor vehicle further includes first and second bumper brackets coupled to the end portion of the respective first or second side members, a bumper reinforcement member coupled to the first and second bumper brackets, and a counter rotation bracket coupled to the bumper reinforcement member and extending upwards from the bumper reinforcement member. The lower darts and the upper darts form a preferential buckling zone of the first and the second side members.

A seat assembly for a motor vehicle includes a seat back and an armrest rotatably coupled to the seat back for movement between a generally vertical, stowed position and a generally horizontal, use position. A guide member is disposed between the armrest and the seat back. The guide member includes a tube having an interior defining thread ridges. A guide pin extends through the tube and interconnects the armrest and seat back. The guide pin includes a helical screw thread portion for rotatably engaging the thread ridges to provide for lateral adjustment of the armrest towards and away from the seat back as the armrest moves between its respective stowed and use position.
