A stereoscopic image display device includes a display panel including a first display area and a second display area. A variable light-transmitting structure is disposed on the display panel and forms a blocking area blocking light from the display panel and a transmitting area transmitting the light from the display panel within the first display area by time division. A lens array is disposed on the variable light-transmitting structure and forms a light field by refracting the light from the display panel.

A display device includes a substrate including a display area including a light emitting area, and a peripheral area surrounding at least a portion of the display area, a first light emitting element disposed in the light emitting area on the substrate and emitting a first light, a light guide layer disposed on the first light emitting element, and transmitting a second light incident from the peripheral area to the display area, a first low refractive layer disposed on the light guide layer and having a refractive index smaller than a refractive index of the light guide layer, a second low refractive layer disposed under the light guide layer and having a refractive index smaller than a refractive index of the light guide layer and a first light control layer disposed on the first low refractive layer and having a first opening exposing the light emitting area.

Anti-peeping display device

A display device includes: a substrate, a light emitting element which is on the substrate and emits light in a light emitting direction; and a side wall layer including a plurality of light control patterns arranged along the substrate, where the side wall layer is adjacent to the light emitting element in the light emitting direction of the light emitting element. Within the side wall layer which is adjacent to the light emitting element in the light emitting direction, each of the plurality of light control patterns has a certain height, the plurality of light control patterns are arranged along a major surface of the substrate and spaced apart from each other by a certain distance between two adjacent light control patterns of the light control patterns, and a ratio of the height to the distance is greater than about 1.4.

The display panel includes a display area including a pixel area, and a light blocking area which is adjacent to the pixel area, a first light emitting device which is in the pixel area of the display area and emits a light having a first wavelength range, a second light emitting device which is in the light blocking area of the display area and emits a light having a second wavelength range different from the first wavelength range, and a discoloration layer which is on the second light emitting device and is color-changeable by the light having the second wavelength range, the discoloration layer defining a first opening exposing the pixel area to outside the discoloration layer.
