An application data synchronization system may include a data storage system and a data synchronization module. The data storage system may store the identity of entities and, for each entity, the identity of a group of cellular communication devices used by the entity and at least one application that has been delivered to at least two of the cellular communication devices in the group. The data synchronization module may detect that an application has changed data while operating in one of the cellular communication devices. The data synchronization module may consult the data storage system to determine whether the application was also delivered to one or more other cellular communication devices within the same entity group and, if so, cause the changed data to be propagated to the one or more other cellular communication devices within the same entity group.

Application data syncing across multiple cellular mobile communication devices

A mobile device accessory includes an integrated non-volatile display (NVD) that uses substantially no power in order to maintain an image displayed thereon. A mobile device connected to the accessory controls the NVD by providing both image data for display on the NVD and power for powering of the NVD. In response to receiving a user-input command to display an image on the NVD, the mobile device transiently provides power to the accessory. While power is provided, the mobile device transmits the data for the image to the accessory. Once the image is displayed on the NVD, the mobile device substantially withdraws power provided to the accessory. Upon receiving a user-input command to update an image on the NVD, the mobile device again transiently provides power to the accessory for a limited period of time sufficient to provide and display the updated image on the NVD.

Non-volatile display accessory controlled and powered by a mobile device

An accessory and method for displaying a data feed are described. A device interface of the accessory is configured to connect a processor with an external device and transfer a data feed from the external device to a display of the accessory. A memory stores computer executable instructions to instruct the processor to receive the transferred data feed via the device interface and to instruct the processor to provide the transferred data feed to the display. A user interface provides a user input in response to the transferred data feed to the processor and back to the external device.

Accessory with integrated display controlled by connected device

A distribution server is configured to receive from a web portal information about an order request for an accessory and digital content. The distribution server stores the digital content at the distribution server along with authentication information used to authenticate a retrieval request for the digital content from a mobile device. The authentication information includes a claim receipt for the digital content and a Mobile Directory Number (MDN) associated with the mobile device. The mobile device sends the retrieval request to the distribution server. Responsive to the retrieval request, the distribution server determines whether the mobile device is authorized to receive the digital content. Upon determining the mobile device is authorized to receive the digital content, the distribution server forwards the digital content over a communication network to the mobile device.

Personalizing an accessory with digital content

A notification routing system may include a data storage system and a notification routing module. The data storage system may store the identity of entities and, for each entity, the identity of a group of cellular communication devices used by the entity. The notification routing module may detect a notification that is directed to at least one of the cellular communication devices, determine which cellular communication device is active within the group of cellular communication devices to which the notification is directed, and route the notification to the active cellular communication device.

A wireless mobile communication device may include a wireless communication system configured to communicate information wirelessly. A rechargeable power source may be configured to supply power to the wireless communication system. A plurality of energy conversion devices may each be configured to receive energy from a different type of energy source and convert that energy into electricity.
