Articles of commerce having three-dimensional sheets

A nonwoven material is disclosed. The nonwoven material comprises a first nonwoven substrate comprising a three-dimensional texture. The three-dimensional texture comprises peaks and valleys such that the texture may comprise an Average Peak to Peak Distance in the range of about 1 mm to about 20 mm, an Average Height Differential in the range of about 1 mm to about 3 mm, and a Surface Topography Index in the range of about 0.01 to about 10. The first nonwoven substrate may comprise polyester. The nonwoven material comprises a second nonwoven substrate comprising a polyolefin and a surfactant applied to the first or second nonwoven substrates. The surfactant is included at an add-on level of at least 0.1%, by weight of the nonwoven material. The first nonwoven substrate is joined to the second nonwoven substrate.

An article of manufacture is disclosed. The article of manufacture comprises a package and a disposable sheet. The sheet has a first surface and a second surface. Three dimensional structures useful as cleaning sheets

A laminate web and several uses of the laminate web are disclosed. The laminate web comprises a first web, a second web joined to the first web at a plurality of discrete bond sites; and a third material disposed between at least a portion of the first and second webs. The laminate webs of the present invention are suitable for a variety of uses. Such uses include flexible carrying implement, medical applications, kitchen or bathroom implements, decorative coverings, home accent items, pet industry articles, fabric, fabric backings, edible materials, bedding applications, absorbent food pads, clean room wipes, tack cloths, and many other uses.

Applications for laminate web

Disclosed are cleaning sheets comprising an additive and perfume. The additive is preferably selected from the group consisting of wax, oil, and mixtures thereof. The cleaning sheets preferably have at least two regions, where the regions are distinguished by basis weight. In particular, the preferred cleaning sheets comprise one or more high basis weight regions having a basis weight of from about 30 to about 120 g/m and one or more low basis weight regions, wherein the low basis weight region(s) have a basis weight that is not more than about 80% of the basis weight of the high basis weight region(s). Also disclosed are cleaning sheets having substantial macroscopic three-dimensionality, in addition to having multiple basis weights. Optionally, the macroscopically three-dimensional cleaning sheets can comprise a scrim material, which when heated and then cooled, contracts so as to provide a macroscopic three-dimensional structure. Macroscopic three-dimensionality is described in terms of &ldquo;average height differential&rdquo;, as well as the &ldquo;average peak-to-peak&rdquo; distance. Processes for using said sheets, benefits of said processes, and articles of manufacture are disclosed.
