A power conversion apparatus may include a main converter including a main housing and at least one transformer disposed in an interior of the main housing, a sub-converter including a sub-housing coupled to an upper portion of the main housing and a voltage boost assembly disposed in an interior of the sub-housing, a lower cooling unit provided in a lower portion of the main housing to support the at least one transformer, and an upper cooling unit provided in a lower portion of the sub-housing to support the voltage boost assembly.

The power supply system of the aircraft includes a fuel cell configured to generate electrical energy, a converter device configured to supply a voltage generated by the fuel cell to a first motor device for driving the aircraft through a first output terminal and switch a connection with the fuel cell depending on a predetermined driving mode, a battery configured to supply the voltage to a second motor device for driving the aircraft through a second output terminal, the second output terminal being connected with an output node of the fuel cell, and a processor configure to control a connection between the fuel cell and the converter device depending on the driving mode.

A fuel cell vehicle includes a cell stack, a DC level converter, an output unit, a first switching unit disposed between a positive output terminal of the DC level converter and a positive input terminal of the output unit, a second switching unit disposed between a negative output terminal of the DC level converter and a negative input terminal of the output unit, a resistor and a third switching unit connected to each other in series between the positive output terminal of the DC level converter and the negative output terminal of the DC level converter, a fourth switching unit disposed between a contact point between the resistor and the third switching unit and the positive input terminal of the output unit, and a controller for controlling switching operation of the first, second, third and fourth switching units according to an operation mode.

Fuel cell vehicle

A fuel cell system that has a fuel cell stack is provided. The system includes an electrolyte membrane, and a cathode and an anode that are a pair of electrodes disposed on opposite sides of the electrolyte membrane. A controller applies voltages to the cathode and the anode of the fuel cell stack before hydrogen that operates the fuel cell stack is supplied to the anode. When the voltages are applied to the cathode and the anode, hydrogen that resides in the cathode flows to the anode through the electrolyte membrane to decrease the concentration of the hydrogen in the cathode. The fuel cell system reduces the concentration of hydrogen discharged to the outside of the vehicle by reducing the concentration of hydrogen in the cathode before driving of the fuel cell is initiated.

Fuel cell system and method for controlling the same

An auto cruise system includes a compensating torque generator, an auto cruise controller, a first calculator, a PI controller, a second calculator, a torque saturator, and a torque command limiter. The compensating torque generator generates a compensating torque based on road conditions. The auto cruise controller detects a time at which a torque limitation is released, and adjusts target speed at that time. The first calculator calculates an error based on a difference between the current speed of the vehicle and the target speed adjusted by the auto cruise controller. The PI controller calculates torque corresponding to the error. The second calculator compensates the torque calculated by the PI controller. The torque saturator defines an upper value and a lower value of the torque compensated by the second calculator. The torque command limiter limits the torque which is physically saturated in the actuator by the available torque saturator.
