The recording/reproducing apparatus acquires, from the table, any of DSP program parameters that corresponds to the attribute information, and sets the DSP program parameter in the amplifier apparatus. The recording/reproducing apparatus also detects a recorded level of each succession of sound data to be recorded onto the medium, and then records the detected recorded level onto the medium in association with the sound data. Also, the recording/reproducing apparatus acquires a recorded level corresponding to a succession of the sound data to be reproduced, and adjusts, on the basis of the acquired recorded level, an output level of the succession of the sound.
