A battery attaching/detaching structure for a saddle-type vehicle including: a plurality of substantially rectangular parallelepiped batteries for supplying electric power to a power source of the saddle-type vehicle; a battery case in which the batteries are stored; battery-side terminals provided on lower surfaces of the batteries; and case-side terminals engaged with the battery-side terminals, comprises terminal holders that support the case-side terminals such that the case-side terminals are movable between a connected position where the case-side terminals are connected to the battery-side terminals and a retracted position where the case-side terminals are separated from the battery-side terminals. Between the case-side terminals and the terminal holders, springs for urging the case-side terminals in a direction of pressing the battery-side terminals are disposed. Such battery attaching/detaching structure is capable of limiting the movement of a stored battery and maintaining good electrical connection between a battery-side terminal and a case-side terminal.

Battery attaching/detaching structure for saddle-type vehicle

A straddle-type electric vehicle includes two approximately rectangular parallelepiped batteries, a battery case in which the batteries are housed, battery-side terminals provided on bottom surfaces of the batteries, and case-side terminals engaged with the battery-side terminals. The two batteries are arranged next to each other in a vehicle width direction. An operation lever for connecting or separating the battery-side terminals and the case-side terminals to/from each other is provided. The operation lever is arranged in a middle in the vehicle width direction between the two batteries, and the battery-side terminals and the case-side terminals are arranged nearer outer sides in the vehicle width direction. A pair of front and rear link mechanisms for coupling the operation lever and the case-side terminals to each other is provided in front of and behind the battery case.

Straddle ride electric vehicle

A battery attachment/detachment structure for a saddle-ride type electric vehicle includes substantially rectangular parallelepiped batteries for supplying electric power to an electric motorcycle, a battery case in which the batteries are housed, a battery-side terminal provided on the bottom surface of each battery, and a case-side terminal engaged with the battery-side terminal. An operation lever for connecting or separating the battery-side terminal and the case-side terminal to/from each other by being operated in the up-and-down direction of a vehicle body, and a locking member for holding the operation lever at a position where the battery-side terminal and the case-side terminal are connected to each other are provided. The locking member regulates the movement of the operation lever towards the upper side of the vehicle body by engaging with the operation lever. The disclosed structure can regulate the movement of housed batteries to maintain excellent electrical connection with a simple configuration.

Battery attachment/detachment structure for saddle-ride type electric vehicle

A body frame for a motorcycle for ensuring the binding rigidity between an engine and a body frame while reducing the weight of the body frame, and also increasing the flexibility of the disposition of motorcycle components. A body frame includes a first frame member and a second frame member, the first frame member and the second frame member being separated relative to each other. At least one engine support is formed integrally with the first frame member. Another engine support and a pivot portion for a rear swing arm is integrally formed with the second frame member. The first frame member gradually expands towards the at least one engine support with three approximately M-shaped projections being formed at an end of the first frame member wherein the at least one engine support is formed at these projections.
