A clipper comprises an elongated handle grip 10 and a cutting head 20 which has an outer shearing foil 22 and an inner cutter assembly 40 driven to rotate in engagement with the undersurface of the outer shearing foil 22 for clipping the entangled fiber strands from the surface of a fabric. The cutting head 20 has a center axis which is perpendicular to the general top plane of the shearing foil 22 and about which the inner cutter assembly 40 rotates. The cutting head 20 extends forwardly from the one longitudinal end of the handle grip 10 with its center axis angled at an obtuse angle with respect to the longitudinal axis of the handle grip 10. A recovery chute 60 is provided along the front face 11 of the handle grip 10 for recovering the clipped fiber strands from within the cutting head 20. The chute 60 has a tapered front surface 61 which tapers from its one end adjacent the cutting head 20 towards the opposite end such that the front surface 61 of the chute 60 is increasingly spaced from the general top plane of the cutting head 20 towards its end remote from the cutting head 20 along the length of the handle grip 10.

Hand-held clipper for removing entangled fiber strands from the surface

A clock and shaver combination unit comprises a casing provided with an electric clock and a battery source therefor and a self-contained battery powered electric shaver removably received in a compartment in the casing. The shaver is in use to be removed from the casing and utilized separately from the clock, while it can be held in the clock casing when the shaver is not in use. This permits the user to always look at the time while his is shaving, yet enabling the user to carry the shaver together with the clock as one integral unit.

A reciprocating type electric shaver comprises an inner-blade mount holding many inner blades and connected to a first driver-element converting rotary motion of a motor into reciprocating motions and an outer blade connected to a second driver-element reciprocated at a mechanical phase reverse to the first driver-element so that the inner blades and outer blade can slidably engage with each other mutually at mechanically reverse phase and the relative momentum of the outer blade with respect to the inner blades can be enlarged.

A digital time indicating clock with minutes, tens of minutes and hours numeral indicating drums arranged in an array, in which intermittent rotations of the minutes drum as driven by a clock mechanism are transmitted sequentially intermittently to the tens of minutes and hours drums through time numeral shifting-up mechanism which comprising a first pinion being rotatable about a shaft borne in proximity and parallelly to peripheries of the resepctive drums and meshing with gear teeth on a peripheral edge of the minutes drum and first gear teeth on a peripheral edge of the tens of minutes drum and a second pinion being rotatable about the shaft and meshing with second gear teeth on the other peripheral edge of the tens of minutes drum and gear teeth on a peripheral edge of the hours drum.

Digital clock

An alarm device of clocks having snoozing function in which, when a set time is reached in clock mechanism, switching means for alarm sound source is actuated to be ON-state through an actuating lever by a set-time indexing wheel shifted on a shaft being rotated by the clock mechanism. The actuating lever disposed for transmitting the shifted motion of the indexing wheel to the switching means is pivotable respectively in a first plane including axial shifting directions of the wheel and in a second plane perpendicular to the first plane. Pivotal motion of the lever in the first plane followingthe shifted motion of the wheel on the set time causes the switching means to be switched ON, in which state a snoozing means manually operated moves the lever pivotally in the second plane to cause the switching means temporarily to be switched OFF and restrict the lever in this position for a fixed cyclic period after the set time. As long as the lever is in the pivotally moved position in the first plane, repetitive restrictions of the lever in the position moved in the second plane by the snoozing mechanism are also released in the same cycle of the fixed period to repetitively sound the alarm sound source.
