There is provided a wireless control system which has a node apparatus including a power generating device, a capacitor and a voltage conversion circuit device connected to the power generating device, and a wireless device having a transmitter function, and connected to the voltage conversion circuit device; a gateway device having a transceiver function of transmitting and receiving a wireless signal transmitted from the node apparatus; and a server device connected to the gateway device, and further has a receiving device which receives a signal transmitted from the gateway device having the transceiver function, and an actuator operated by a signal sent from the receiving device, and in which power with which the node apparatus operates is supplied from the power generating device, and the power generated in the power generating device is increased and decreased by the actuator.

Wireless control system initiated by power generation

A signal processing circuit detects vibration applied to an acceleration switch. A main determination section connectable to the acceleration switch compares an output of the acceleration switch to a preset first determination criterion to determine the vibration applied to the acceleration switch. A power supply control section control supply of power based on a result of the determination made by the main determination section. A main control section controls a control target based on the power supplied from the power supply control section. A sensor detects a physical quantity applied to the sensor based on the power supplied from the power supply control section. The power supply control section controls the supply of the power to at least one of the main control section and the sensor based on the result of the determination made by the main determination section as to the vibration applied to the acceleration switch.

Signal processing circuit, vibration detection circuit, and electronic device

An acceleration switch includes a mass body having a space therein, a single arc-shaped beam supporting the mass body, a support portion supporting the arc-shaped beam, and a counter electrode disposed in the space of the mass body. The arc-shaped beam is arranged so as to surround the mass body, and the support portion is disposed at a periphery of the mass body. An electrode interval corresponding to a distance between an inner side surface of the mass body and an outer side surface of the counter electrode is 1 &#x3bc;m or more and 20 &#x3bc;m or less.

Acceleration switch and electronic device

An acceleration switch has a mass body having a space inside, and a counter electrode provided in the space of the mass body. An arc-shaped beam surrounds and supports the mass body. The acceleration sensitivity threshold of the acceleration switch is determined by a cut portion in the mass body or by the area of the top surface of the mass body. In this manner, a plurality of acceleration switches each having a single acceleration sensitivity threshold, for example, in steps of 0.2 G, can be prepared.

Acceleration switch

An acceleration switch has a frame fixed to a first substrate, a beam positioned inside the frame and supported by the frame, and a mass body supported by the beam and having a hole portion at substantially a center thereof. A central body is positioned inside the hole portion and fixed to the first substrate. The hole portion or the central body are suitably configured, or the position of the hole portion or the position of the center body is suitably selected, so that the acceleration switch is capable of detecting a predetermined acceleration irrespective of the influence of gravity acceleration.

Household appliances such as televisions require the continuous supply of power to a remote control receiving circuit and microcomputer to receive remote control signals when turned off. To reduce power consumption, charge is stored in a battery or capacitor to supply power to the microcomputer and remote control receiving circuit without continuous operation of an AC-DC converter. Before a voltage of the charge storing device is reduced below a given level, such as the lowest operating voltage of the microcomputer and remote control receiving circuit, the AC-DC converter is activated to charge the charge storing device. When the voltage rises to a given level, such as the highest operating voltage of the microcomputer and the remote control receiving circuit, the AC-DC converter stops charging the charge storing device, so that the operating frequency of the AC-DC converter is reduced.

Power circuit

By supplying a positive power supply of the operational amplifier from a switching regulator using an input voltage of the operational amplifier as its reference voltage, even if the bias ratio is varied, the ratio of the positive power supply voltage of the operational amplifier to an output voltage of the operational amplifier is always constant, and thus, there is an effect that a liquid crystal display device with low power consumption can be implemented independently of the panel.

Power supply circuit for liquid crystal display

A charge/discharge control circuit is provided for an electric power source apparatus in which a service life is prolonged. A voltage dividing circuit, an overcharge voltage detection circuit, an overdischarge voltage detection circuit and a control circuit are connected in parallel to a secondary cell which is an electric power source, wherein the control circuit detects a condition of the secondary cell from the overcharge/overdischarge voltage detection circuits and outputs a signal Vs for controlling a power supply to an external equipment and a charge by an external power source and controls a switching element provided in series with the voltage dividing circuit and reduces a current which flows through the voltage dividing circuit.

Charge/discharge control circuit and chargeable electric power source apparatus

By utilizing a plurality of charge storing elements, a delay circuit may be reduced in size and cost. A delayed output signal is produced a predetermined time period after detection of an input signal by selectively charging and discharging each of a plurality of charge storage units either concurrently or successively and by detecting the charge level of each respective charge storage element. When the charge level of the respective charge storing elements indicates that a predetermined period of time has transpired since detection of the input signal, a delayed output signal is generated. This operation is performed in one embodiment by simultaneously charging two capacitors, comparing the voltage level of one capacitor with a reference potential, and inverting an output signal when the level reaches the predetermined reference potential. The second capacitor is used to tie the output to this level while the first capacitor discharges. In another embodiment, capacitors are charged and discharged in cycles and a counter is used to count the number of charge/discharge cycles. When the count reaches a predetermined number, the output signal is generated. Accordingly, a delay circuit may be produced without the need for large capacitors and resistors and may be formed in a monolithic integrated circuit.

A charge/discharge control circuit for controlling the charging and discharging of a secondary cell has a voltage dividing circuit for dividing an output voltage of the secondary cell, which may comprise plural cells, an overcharge detection circuit for detecting an overcharge state of the secondary cell, an overdischarge detection circuit for detecting an overdischarge state of the secondary cell, and a control circuit for receiving and processing an output signal of the overcharge detecting circuit and the overdischarge detecting circuit and controlling the switch. In a preferred embodiment, an overcharge reference voltage source used for the overcharge voltage detection circuit is used also as an overdischarge reference voltage source for the overdischarge voltage detection circuit.

In a delay circuit using the charging and discharging of a capacitor for setting a delay time, there is provided means for monitoring the terminal voltage across the capacitor, and recognizing whether it is a normal voltage, or not, by using an external signal.

A power supply circuit for supplying power which may be used to drive a liquid crystal display unit in a multiline addressing scheme, in which drive voltages VH, VL and Vi on the common side of the liquid crystal display unit can satisfy the relationship VH-Vi=Vi-Vt with high accuracy, comprises a switching regulator for generating a first output voltage of a first polarity, a resistor connected to the first switching regulator to divide the first output voltage and produce a divided output voltage, and a second, constant-voltage power supply circuit which includes an error amplifier that inputs the divided output voltage as one of a supply voltage and a reference voltage and which generates a second output voltage opposite in polarity to the first polarity so that a constant relationship is maintained between the first and second output voltages.
