The present invention is provided for considerably shortening the construction time of a building that is applied to nuclear power plants. When constructing the building, megablocks having a height that extends to a plurality of floors are produced, and together with combining those megablocks, concrete is poured inside them to form a wall member composed of a megawall structure of steel plate reinforced concrete construction. Alternatively, in addition to the wall megablocks, floor megablocks for forming the floor member of the building are used, and together with combining those megablocks, concrete is poured inside or above them to form a structural member (wall member and floor member) composed of a megawall structure of steel plate reinforced concrete construction.

Building and construction method therefor

Herein disclosed is a method of orienting the neck of a bottle of a saturated polyester resin so as to enhance the physical properties and durability of the neck. A method for injection molding a particularly elongated tubular parison having a closed bottom and assuring consistently uniform wall thickness in the tube wall, is disclosed. The method involves injection molding an open bottom tubular member, and thereafter forming a bottom wall integrally with the tubular member in a separate injection molding step in which a molten polymer is injected into a mold cavity defined, in part, by the bottom end of the tubular member. During the first injection molding step, the core mold is held at both ends by the other components of the mold assembly so that there is no possibility of eccentric misplacement of the elongated core in the mold cavity due to flexing of the core, which would cause non-uniformity in wall thickness of the molded tube. The open bottom of the tube is closed by injecting additional polymer during the second injection molding step, wherein a portion of the mold cavity is defined by the bottom end of the previously formed tubular member, so that the injection molded bottom wall is integrated to the tube parison in accurate relative position to the tubular wall.

Method for molding elongated parisons

A biaxially oriented bottle of saturated polyester resin has a disadvantage that the mouth or the part extending from the neck to the shoulder, which is not oriented or is oriented only a little, is much poorer in durability and resistance to the content liquid than the body which is molded under sufficient orientation. Such a disadvantage has been surmounted in this invention by covering the inside of the mouth or the part extending from the neck to the shoulder, which is in direct contact with the content liquid, with a layer which is durable and resistant to the content liquid.

A device for unloading a product or a light bottle-shaped container of synthetic resin from a predetermined jig for engaging the container throughout the production line from an injection molding machine. This device incorporates a turntable for holding a number of jigs at equal central angle intervals at its periphery, a rocking unit relatively rotatably rocking to turn at the same speed in the same direction as the turntable and to then return to the original position faster than the previous speed, and a pair of linking mechanisms supported by a supporting arm to the rocking unit for unloading the container engaged by the jig. Thus, this device can continuously, rapidly and exactly feed the unloaded container to the next step.

Device for unloading bottle-shaped containers

A device for supplying a piece of preformed synthetic resin to the next process line in an apparatus for producing a bottle-shaped blow-molded container of biaxially oriented polyethylene terephthalate by overturning the piece from neck portion upward position into neck portion downward position, engaging the piece thus overturned to neck portion downward position with orienting jigs held at equidistant central angles at the peripheral edge of a turntable rotating at constant speed in predetermined direction, and supplying the piece held at the jigs around the turntable to a next process line adjacent to the turntable. Thus, the pieces can be continuously rapidly and exactly supplied to the next stage or line.

This heating blow-molding machine fabricates a number of bottle-shaped containers from biaxially oriented plastic pieces or parisons by supplying the plastic pieces to a heating unit to heat them to the orientation temperature and then supplying them to 12-station rotary blow molding machine for biaxial orientation. Each of the plastic pieces or parisons is made of polyethylene terephthalate resin to provide a thin-walled transparent bottle-shaped container of cylindrical shape with one bottom and a prefinished neck portion injection molded simultaneously in numerous number by an injection molding machine. This blow-molding machine consists of a turntable for the heating unit, a turntable for a blow-molding machine, and a turntable for loading and unloading the pieces and the products blow-molded from the pieces. Each of the turntables is continuously turned in predetermined direction at an intrinsic speed set with respect to the number of stations provided thereat, the time required for heating the pieces, and another time required for blow-molding and cooling the pieces, etc. Further, a rotor is employed to transfer the pieces or container products between the turntables rotated at their intrinsic speeds, respectively. The rotor is rotated according to a speed curve at a moving speed equal to the peripheral speed of the turntable opposite to the turntable for transferring the pieces held thereby at the holding portions.

Heating blow-molding machine

A polymer parison to be blow molded into a container configuration including a reduced diameter neck and a taper wall disposed between the neck and a greater diameter body portion of the container, which is shaped to permit a sufficient amount of stretch to be imparted to the taper wall forming portion of the parison which has a less-stretching tendency during the blow molding operation. Polyethylene terephthalate exhibits greatly improved characteristics and enhanced durability when it is biaxially stretched more than a certain fixed level. The parison is formed by injection molding such that when the parison is placed in the mold cavity, the taper wall forming portion is at an increased spaced distance away from the cavity wall so as to achieve a sufficient amount of stretch, as noted in the body forming portion of the parison, when it is blown to assume the contour of the mold.
