A vehicle antenna device includes an antenna base, an antenna case that covers the antenna base, and an antenna element positioned inside the antenna case and including a capacitive element and a coil element. The coil element includes a supporting body and a winding held by the supporting body, and the supporting body has a support area and projections that are formed along an axial direction of the coil element and hold the winding in the support area.

Vehicle antenna device

A vehicle antenna device has a stably held coil element while its winding shape is maintained, and the number of turns of the coil element winding is easily adjusted during production. A coil element is configured by forming a winding around a resin-made bobbin. A guide groove, which is a path of the winding, and a plurality of projections, which are along the path of the winding, are disposed on the outer circumferential surface of the winding barrel of the bobbin. The guide groove spirally extends around the outer circumferential surface of the winding barrel. The projections are disposed in plural numbers in each of a plurality of circumferential positions on the outer circumferential surface of the winding barrel. A winding end portion of the winding is drawn out in the axial direction while being hooked to an arbitrary one of the projections, and electrically connected to an upper terminal.

A vehicle antenna device includes: an antenna base; an antenna case which is overlaid on the antenna base; and an antenna element and an amplifier board which are disposed inside the antenna case. The antenna base has: a resin-made base which has an opening; and a metal-made base which is smaller in area than the resin-made base, the metal-made base being disposed on the resin-made base so as to close the opening, and having a cylindrical portion for attachment to a vehicle body. A conductor plate is attached to a surface of the resin-made base, the surface being opposite to a placement surface of the metal-made base.

A composite antenna includes: a coil element which is formed into a spiral shape, and which has a trap coil portion in a base end portion; a tubular conductive element which is electrically series-connected to a base end of the coil element; and a connection metal fitting which is electrically connected to a base end of the conductive element. A series connection of the coil element and the tubular conductive element operates in a first frequency band, and the tubular conductive element alone operates in a second frequency band which is higher than the first frequency band.

Composite antenna and method of producing the same

A vehicle antenna device includes: an antenna base; an antenna case which is overlaid on the antenna base; and an antenna element and an amplifier board which are disposed inside the antenna case. The antenna element has a capacitive element and a coil element, and a filter board is disposed between the capacitive element and the coil element.

A vehicle includes a vehicle frame, a dielectric panel mounted to the vehicle frame, an antenna unit mounted on the dielectric panel, an electrically conductive bracket connected with the antenna unit, and a resilient ground plate connected with the bracket and the vehicle frame. The dielectric panel can be interposed between the antenna unit and the bracket. The resilient ground plate can facilitate grounding the antenna unit to the vehicle frame. A vehicle antenna unit and an antenna mount for the vehicle antenna unit are also disclosed.

Vehicle antenna unit

A base member is adapted to be mounted on a vehicle body. A proximal end of a rod-shaped antenna body is pivotably provided on the base member. The antenna body includes an antenna element. A first conductive member is disposed in the base member and provided with a first bracket-shaped portion having elasticity. A second conductive member is electrically connected to the antenna element and provided with a second bracket-shaped portion. The second conductive member is pivotably fitted with the first conductive member while opposite outer faces of the second bracket-shaped portion is brought into elastic contact with opposing inner faces of the first bracket-shaped portion.

Antenna device mounted on vehicle

A structure for mounting an antenna device on a first side of a panel body is disclosed. A first fixation member includes a first end having a first width, a second end, and a slit connecting the first end and the second end. A protrusion is protruded from the antenna device and fitted into the first end of the first fixation member. A second fixation member is fitted into the second end of the first fixation member while being coupled with the protrusion in a screwing manner. The first width is smaller than an aperture formed in the panel body when the protrusion and the second fixation member are in a first screwing position, so that the protrusion, the first fixation member and the second fixation member are allowed to pass through the aperture from the first side to a second side thereof. The slit is expanded such that the first end of the first fixation member is made to have a second width which is greater than the aperture when the protrusion and the second fixation member are in a second screwing position where the protrusion and the second fixation member are closed to each other than the first screwing position.

Antenna mounting structure

In an antenna adapted to be mounted on a vehicle body, a base member supports a base end of the antenna element. A screw member is extended from the base member and adapted to be inserted into a though hole formed in the vehicle body. A wall member is extended from the base member to define a housing space. A circuit board is disposed in the housing space. A casing covers the housing space such that an inner face thereof comes in contact with an outer face of the wall member. A waterproofing member is disposed between the base member and the vehicle body so as to surround an entire periphery of the through hole.

Antenna mounted on vehicle

An antenna device is mounted on a vehicle body. A distal end of an antenna element is attached to an antenna base. The antenna base is provided with a conductive screw projection electrically connected with the antenna element and inserted into a hole formed in the vehicle body, and a first insulative member mounted on an outer face of the vehicle body to electrically insulate the screw projection from the vehicle body. A conductive washer is disposed inside the vehicle body such that the screw projection is inserted therethrough. A conductive nut is disposed inside the vehicle body to be screwed to the screw projection to form a conductive path from the antenna element and an electric equipment disposed inside the vehicle. A second insulative member is disposed inside the vehicle body to electrically insulate the screw projection from the washer, and to electrically insulate the nut from the washer.

An antenna element is placed in a first mold for molding a first resin member including a plurality of protrusions, formed on an outer peripheral face of the first resin member and arranged with a fixed interval relative to a circumferential direction of the first resin member, and a tip end portion, having a cross sectional shape in which projected portions are arranged with a fixed interval relative to the circumferential direction of the first resin member. Insulating resin is injected into the first mold to form the first resin member. The first resin member is placed in a second mold such that the protrusions are brought into contact with an inner face of the second mold. Insulating resin is injected into the second mold from a gate confronting the tip end portion of the first resin member, to form a second resin member coated on the first resin member.
