A treatment system that includes a pair of jaws and a heater resistor provided on one jaw of the pair of jaws that generates heat by energization. The system also includes a heating device that controls a current to set a resistance value of the heater resistor to a target resistance value. The heating device includes a double bridge circuit allowing current to flow between the heating device and the heater resister when detecting, by the detection resister, a difference between the resistance value of the heater resistor and the predetermined target resistance value. The heating device including a power supply voltage generator that generates a power supply voltage to be applied to the heater resistor and the double bridge circuit, a controller that modulates the generated power supply voltage, and a heater resistance detector that detects an AC component from the current flowing through the detection resistor.

A medical system includes an endoscope apparatus including a plurality of insertion portions and a main unit supporting them; a sheath unit attachable to a biological subject and having a through-hole through which the insertion portions can be passed; a monitor; barcodes from which the insertion portions issue identification information; an identification-signal generating unit that acquires the identification information from the barcodes and outputs this to the main unit every time the insertion portions pass through the through-hole; wherein the main unit includes an image selector that displays, on the monitor, an image acquired by the insertion portion identified by the main unit as having being have passed through the sheath unit on the basis of the identification information from the identification-signal generating unit.

An endoscope system according to the invention includes a display device including a first connector, plural apparatuses having different functions in which placing sections, on which the display device can be detachably set from a common direction, are respectively provided, and a second connector disposed in common in each of the placing sections and electrically connected to the first connector of the display device to form a pair in a state in which the display device is set on the placing sections.
