A smart key system according to the present invention controls operations of devices mounted in a vehicle based on wireless communication between a control device mounted in the vehicle and a portable electronic key, and the control device includes a transmission circuit configured to output a request signal a predetermined number of times at predetermined times within a predetermined period in order to confirm authentication communication between the control device and a communication unit of the portable electronic key, and a communication mode switching unit configured to switch an authentication communication interval or an authentication communication time within the predetermined period of the request signal output from the transmission circuit of the control device if the authentication communication is not performed for a predetermined amount of time.

Smart key system

The present invention provides an automatic locking/unlocking device which locks an opening/closing body when a normal response signal is received in response to a request signal sent to a predetermined zone around a vehicle body, comprising detector for detecting that the opening/closing body is closed, wherein the request signal is sent within the vehicle compartment in response to closing of the opening/closing body before the request signal is sent to the predetermined zone around the vehicle body and if the normal response signal is received in response to this request signal, transmission of the request signal to the predetermined zone around the vehicle body is prohibited, thereby suppressing consumption of power in the portable unit and ensuring a secure automatic locking.

Radio type locking/unlocking device

A remote control system for precisely identifying a distance from the vehicle to an entry key and favorably controlling a vehicle-mounted device such as a door corresponding to the distance. The system comprises a transmitter transmitting different types of response demand signals within a predetermined communication area outside the vehicle, a vehicle mounted receiver for receiving a response signal released from a portable transmitter/receiver in response to the reception of the response demand signal, a controller controlling the vehicle mounted device corresponding to the reception of the response signal by the vehicle mounted receiver. Locking and/or unlocking door(s) of the vehicle are controlled on the basis of whether or not the receiver receives the response signal to a response demand signal other than one having the largest communication area.

Remote control system for a vehicle

A vehicle equipment remote control system includes an electronic control unit that controls the transmission from vehicle exterior transmitters and a vehicle interior transmitter such that, when one of switchover intention detection means detects a vehicle user's intention to switch over a door between a locked state and an unlocked state, among the vehicle exterior transmitters, the vehicle exterior transmitter on the side where the switchover intention detection means that has detected the switchover intention is located transmits a request signal requesting reply data, and a prohibition signal is transmitted from at least one of the remaining vehicle exterior transmitter and the vehicle interior transmitter to prohibit the transmission of reply data from the portable transceiver, the prohibition signal being at a low output level that cannot be received by the portable transceiver that is present on the side where the switchover intention detection means that has detected the switchover intention is located.
