An emitter for an X-ray tube device is configured to irradiate an anode with electrons for X-ray emission. The emitter includes an electron emission portion to be heated by an electric current, a current application leg for supplying the electric current to the electron emission portion, a support leg, a current application leg fixing portion for supporting the current application leg and supplying the electric current to the current application leg, and a support leg fixing portion for supporting the support leg. At least one of materials and shapes are different between the current application leg fixing portion and the support leg fixing portion so that a difference in an amount of thermal deformation between the current application leg and the support leg in a direction vertical to the electron emission portion is reduced when the electron emission portion is heated.

An X-ray tube assembly for generating an X-ray, comprises: a filament including a plurality of electric flow paths; and an adjustor configured to adjust at least one of values of current flowing through the plurality of electric flow paths to adjust an electron emission area of the filament.

X-ray tube assembly and method for adjusting filament

An X-ray tube device according to the present invention includes a cathode generating an electron beam, an anode generating an X-ray by collision of the electron beam from the cathode, an envelope internally housing the cathode and the anode, a magnetic field generator including a magnetic pole arranged to be opposed to the envelope, generating a magnetic field for focusing and deflecting the electron beam from the cathode to the anode, and an electric field relaxing electrode arranged between the magnetic pole and the envelope, having an outer surface having a rounded shape. Thus, the magnetic field generator can be placed closer to the envelope while a tip end of the magnetic field generator is suppressed from being a discharge start point, and hence the effect of being capable of downsizing the X-ray tube device is achieved.

X-ray tube device

Conventionally, the magnetic field generator was arranged perpendicularly to the axis of the electron beam. The magnetic field generator of this invention is arranged so as to be inclined relative to the plane perpendicular to the axis of the electron beam. Specifically, the magnetic field generator is arranged so as to be inclined relative to the plane perpendicular to the axis of the electron beam within the range in the cathode side from the focused and deflected electron beam. Inclination up to the anode side opposite to the cathode side will lead to a possibility of increasing the reduced X-ray source diameter. Thus, arranging the magnetic field generator so as to be inclined within the range in the cathode side from the electron beam may reduce the X-ray source diameter.

X-ray tube apparatus

An X-ray generator includes an electron source generating an electron beam, a target generating an X-ray by a collision of the electron beam and extending in a direction orthogonal to the electron beam, and a cylindrical electrode covering a collision portion of the target to which the electron beam collides and having a bore allowing the electron beam to pass through. The electron source and the target are arranged in such a way that the X-ray is radiated in the direction orthogonal to an optical axis of the electron beam. A depression equivalent to a notch of the target is provided in a collision face side of the electron beam on the target and also in a reverse location of a tip of the target located on an outgoing radiation side of the X-ray relative to a collision location of the electron beam on the target.

X-ray generator

A technique for accurately determining states of bioelectric currents occurring in particular positions in a site of interest of a patient. Transfer functions between the particular positions and each magnetic sensor are derived from a positional relationship between the site of interest and each magnetic sensor. Weight coefficients are computed from an inverse matrix obtained by adding a predetermined value to a matrix of the transfer functions, and virtual biomagnetism information obtained virtually by bioelectric currents set to the particular positions. Enhanced biomagnetism information with only the biomagnetism from the particular positions enhanced is acquired by superposing the weight coefficients of measured biomagnetism information. Based on this enhanced biomagnetism information, states of bioelectric currents occurring in the particular positions are determined accurately.

Biomagnetism measuring method and apparatus

A method and apparatus for deducing physical quantities such as positions, sizes and orientations of bioelectric current sources. Minute magnetic fields formed by the bioelectric current sources in a region under examination of an examinee are measured with a plurality of magnetic sensors arranged adjacent the region under examination. A plurality of lattice points are set in the region under examination. Physical quantities of the current sources are derived by solving a relational expression of unknown current sources at the lattice points and field data provided by the magnetic sensors, with a condition added thereto to minimize a norm of a vector having the current source at each of the lattice points. The lattice points are moved toward a lattice point having a large current value among the current sources computed. Checking is made whether a minimum distance among the lattice points having been moved is below a predetermined value. The current source computing step to the checking step are repeated for the lattice points having been removed, when the minimum distance exceeds the predetermined value, and the current source corresponding to a magnetic field occurring when the minimum distance is determined to be below the predetermined value is identified to be a true current source.

Method and apparatus for deducing bioelectric current sources

A method and apparatus for deducing physical quantities such as positions, sizes and orientations of bioelectric current sources.
