Provided is a fiber sizing agent including a vinyl ester resin (A), an epoxy compound (B), and an aqueous medium. The vinyl ester resin (A) has an alkoxy polyoxyalkylene structure and a urethane linkage. The fiber sizing agent exhibits excellent binding ability for various fibers, such as glass fibers and carbon fibers. Molded articles produced from a molding material including the fiber sizing agent have various excellent physical properties, and examples of the physical properties include flexural strength, compressive strength, and interlaminar shear strength. Accordingly, the molded articles can be used, for example, in automotive parts, aircraft parts, windmill parts, industrial parts, and the like.

The present invention uses a urethane resin composition including a urethane resin (A), a multifunctional acrylate (B), and a solvent (C). The urethane resin (A) is a reaction product of a polyol (a1) and a polyisocyanate (a2). The polyol (a1) includes an alkylene diol (a1-1) having two or more polymerizable unsaturated groups and represented by general formula (1) or an oxyalkylene diol (a1-2) having two or more polymerizable unsaturated groups and represented by general formula (2) below. The proportion of polymerizable unsaturated bonds in the urethane resin composition is within a range of 3 to 9 mmol/g. The present invention provides an aqueous coating agent including a vinyl polymer (A) having a basic nitrogen atom-containing group and a carboxylic group, a quaternary ammonium salt (B), and an aqueous medium (C). Particularly, the present invention provides an aqueous coating agent including a compound represented by General Formula (1) below as the quaternary ammonium salt (B). The aqueous coating agent has excellent adhesiveness, warm water resistance, corrosion resistance, and chemical resistance, and can form a film that is capable of preventing the deterioration of various substrates. In General Formula (1), Rto Reach independently represent an alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms or an aryl group.

A problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a polyurethane film that offers both soft texture and high strength. The present invention relates to a polyurethane film obtained by solidifying a polyurethane (A) obtained by reacting a polyol (a1) including an aliphatic polyester polyol having an anionic group (a1-1), and a polyester polyol (a1-2) other than the aliphatic polyester polyol (a1-1) with a polyisocyanate (a2), using a metal salt, in which the polyurethane (A) has an aromatic structure in the range of 500 mmol/kg to 2,000 mmol/kg with respect to the entire polyurethane (A).
