A manipulator is used to operate a surgical device that treats a body tissue. The manipulator includes a drive mechanism having a stationary section to be attached on a housing of a drive unit containing with at least one motor. A movable part is supported rotatably about a predetermined axis on the stationary section and having a connecting portion configured to be connected to the at least one motor when the stationary section is attached on the housing. A cover is configured to seal a gap between the movable part and the stationary section so as to prevent fluid from entering the gap between the movable part and the stationary part. A power transmission member is connected to both the movable part and the surgical device to transmit power from the motor to the surgical device.

Manipulator for driving surgical device that treats body tissue

A manipulator and manipulator system in which a dynamic surplus is rapidly removed and a moving part actuates rapidly in association with the operation of an operating part. The manipulator includes an operating part operated by an operator, a moving part operated by the operating part, a transmitting part for coupling the operating part to the moving part to transmit driving force of the operating part to the moving part, a transmission compensating part for making up for a dynamic surplus occurring in the transmitting part in association with the operation of the operating part, an input part for acquiring a state of at least one of the operating, moving and transmitting part, and a control unit for controlling the transmission compensating part depending on the state acquired by the input part.

The invention has for its object to provide a manipulator and manipulator system in which a dynamic surplus is rapidly removed and a moving assembly actuates rapidly in association with the operation of an operating assembly. An apparatus for delivering parts such as pipette chips in succession to an intended position includes a transfer section. The transfer section includes a stepped portion for changing a transfer passage to upper and lower passages to provide a difference in height between the upper and lower passages, which is in more than a size of the parts. The transfer section further includes a separator for holding on the upper passage an upper part of at least two parts being transferred in overlapping relationship one on the other and causing the lower part of the two parts to drop by gravity onto the lower passage and continuously thereto causing the upper part itself to drop onto the lower passage. A recovery duct is preferably provided upstream of the transfer section. With the above construction, no overlapping parts are delivered to a part supply section and no waste parts occur due to a trouble in transferring.
