A server includes a processor and a communication device configured to acquire a transmitted power amount transmitted from a power facility during external charging of a vehicle participating in a DR. The processor is configured to calculate, when a plurality of vehicles participates in the DR, a standard reward that is a standard of a reward given from an aggregator to each of the vehicles, according to the transmitted power amount, decide, when a first vehicle participates in the DR, a first reward that is a reward given from the aggregator to the first vehicle, such that the first reward becomes the standard reward for the first vehicle, and decide, when a second vehicle participates in the DR, a second reward that is a reward given from the aggregator to the second vehicle, such that the second reward becomes higher than the standard reward for the second vehicle.

Server

A power management system includes a vehicle and a charging or discharging lane. The charging or discharging lane configured to execute at least one of charging or discharging of the vehicle in a non-contact manner. The vehicle is configured to acquire contract contents including a charging or discharging amount and a charging or discharging period. The vehicle is configured to execute the contract contents in a charging or discharging lane that is different from electric vehicle supply equipment set in the contract contents and is reachable before the charging or discharging period when the vehicle is predicted to, before a start of the charging or discharging period, be unable to execute the contract contents in the set electric vehicle supply equipment.

Power management system, vehicle, and management server

Information on a charging/discharging operation in a second period which is longer than a first period is transmitted as a control instruction from a control server. A communication failure handling device stores the control instruction transmitted in a cycle of the first period from the control server in a memory that is able to be accessed by an electric-vehicle power station regardless of a communication state between the control server and the electric-vehicle power station. When a communication failure has occurred between the control server and the electric-vehicle power station, the communication failure handling device causes the electric-vehicle power station to perform a charging/discharging operation based on the control instruction stored in the memory.

Communication failure handling device and method in VPP

A server manages plural vehicles each configured to be able to participate in a DR. A first vehicle is able to transmit power through a power cable. A second vehicle is able to transmit power in a non-contact manner while being stationary. A third vehicle is able to transmit power in a non-contact manner while traveling. The server includes a communication device and a processing device. The communication device is able to transmit a DR signal to each of the vehicles. The processing device selects a target vehicle, to which the DR signal is to be transmitted, from the vehicles in accordance with the priority degree for participation in the DR. The processing device sets the priority degree of the first vehicle to be higher than that of the second vehicle, and sets the priority degree of the second vehicle to be higher than that of the third vehicle.

In a hybrid power system, when a change-speed stage selected in one of gear-shift mechanisms for first and second drive trains is switched over to another change-speed stage in the other gear-shift mechanism, deceleration in rotation speed of an engine detected by a rotation speed sensor is compared with a preset upper limit. When the deceleration in rotation speed of the engine exceeds the upper limit, the motor-generator in drive connection with an input shaft of the second drive train is activated as an electric motor to cause load torque canceling or offsetting input torque applied to the input shaft of the other gear-shift mechanism from the engine, and engagement of the change-speed stage in the other gear-shift mechanism is released after the occurrence of the load torque.

A driving apparatus of a hybrid vehicle includes a first speed change mechanism capable of receiving mechanical power from an engine output shaft by a first input shaft and transmitting the mechanical power to drive wheels, a second speed change mechanism capable of receiving the mechanical power from the engine output shaft and a rotor by a second input shaft engaged with the rotor and transmitting the mechanical power to the drive wheels, a first clutch capable of engaging the engine output shaft with the first input shaft, and a second clutch capable of engaging the engine output shaft with the second input shaft.

Vehicle driving apparatus

A driving apparatus includes a first transmission mechanism receiving mechanical power from an engine output shaft by a first input shaft, a second transmission mechanism receiving the mechanical power from the engine output shaft and a motor by a second input shaft, and a first clutch capable of engaging the engine output shaft with the first input shaft. When performing cranking of an internal-combustion engine, an ECU selects a gear position of the first transmission mechanism and the second transmission mechanism to reduce speed of the mechanical power received by the second input shaft and transmit the power to the first input shaft, and puts the first clutch into an engaging state. The speed of the mechanical power from the motor is reduced by the first and second transmission mechanisms to increase torque, and power is transmitted to the engine output shaft through the first clutch.
