A rotating electrical machine case includes a case body having a cylindrical shape surrounding a rotating electrical machine and a side wall portion provided on at least one end side of the case body in a rotation axis direction. The side wall portion is provided with a plurality of ribs extending in a radial direction when viewed from the rotation axis direction of a rotating electrical machine and the plurality of ribs include ribs having different circumferential widths.

Disclosed is a motor unit that includes: a rotary electrical machine that has a cylindrical stator, a rotor disposed coaxially with the stator, a shaft disposed coaxially with the rotor, and a cylindrical case that houses the stator and the rotor; and a drive unit that has a swell swelling toward the case and is fixed to a circumferential surface that is located in a radial direction of the rotor and is the case. The case has a recess that corresponds to the swell.

A motor unit includes: a first rotating electric machine which includes a cylindrical first stator, a first rotor disposed coaxially with the first stator, a first shaft disposed coaxially with the first rotor, and a cylindrical first casing accommodating the first stator and the first rotor; a second rotating electric machine which includes a cylindrical second stator, a second rotor disposed coaxially with the second stator, a second shaft disposed coaxially with the second rotor, and a cylindrical second casing accommodating the second stator and the second rotor; a single drive device which is integrally fixed across a peripheral surface in a diameter direction of the first rotor in the first casing and a peripheral surface in a diameter direction of the second rotor in the second casing; and a surface-matching fixing portion which is fixed by a fixing member while an axial end surface of the first casing comes into contact with an axial end surface of the second casing.

Motor unit and motor unit manufacturing method

Provided is a rotor of a brushed motor capable of reducing the occurrence of contamination during press-fitting of a commutator onto a knurling and reducing defect factors due to rotor contamination to improve productivity. In a rotor of a brushed motor having a commutator press-fitted onto a knurling of a shaft, an inclined surface is provided on an inner circumferential side of the commutator, and an angle of the inclined surface is configured to be smaller than an angle of an axial end portion of the knurling. The knurling may be configured to be at a position different from a shaft stepped end surface of the shaft and the knurling may be configured to be positioned axially inward of the commutator from an end surface of the commutator.
