A photodetection device according to the present disclosure includes: a pixel; a reference signal generation unit; a comparison circuit; and a first switch. The pixel is configured to generate a pixel signal. The reference signal generation unit is configured to generate a reference signal. The comparison circuit includes a first-stage amplifier circuit and a second-stage amplifier circuit that is coupled to the first-stage amplifier circuit through a connection node. The first-stage amplifier circuit is configured to output a first output signal corresponding to a comparison operation based on the pixel signal and the reference signal. The second-stage amplifier circuit is configured to output a second output signal corresponding to the first output signal outputted from the first-stage amplifier circuit through the connection node. The first switch has one end and another end. The one end is coupled to the connection node. The first switch allows impedance and a voltage at the connection node to change.

Photodetection device and electronic apparatus

An imaging device according to the present disclosure includes a light-receiving pixel; a reference signal generator; a first amplification section; a second amplification section; a third amplification section; and a counter. The first amplification section is coupled to a first power supply node and a second power supply node. The first amplification section performs a comparison operation on the basis of a pixel signal and a reference signal. The first amplification section outputs a signal corresponding to a result of the comparison to a first node. The second amplification section includes a first transistor and a first load circuit. The first transistor includes a gate coupled to the first node, a drain coupled to a second node, and a source coupled to the second power supply node. The third amplification section includes a second transistor and a first switch. The second transistor includes a gate coupled to the second node, a source coupled to the first power supply node, and a drain coupled to a third node. The first switch applies a predetermined voltage to the third node by being turned on. The counter is coupled to a third power supply node and a fourth power supply node. The counter stops a count operation on the basis of a voltage of the third node.

Imaging device and electronic apparatus

In a solid-state image sensor provided with a comparator that compares a reference signal and a pixel signal, the image quality of image data is improved. A voltage divider circuit supplies a divided voltage of an input voltage and a predetermined reference voltage that are input. An input-side differential transistor outputs a drain current corresponding to the gate-source voltage between the divided voltage input to the gate and a predetermined source voltage. An output-side differential transistor outputs a voltage corresponding to the drain current as a result of comparison between the input voltage and the reference voltage. A control transistor reduces the gate-source voltage in a case where the input voltage is out of a predetermined range.

Solid-state image sensor and imaging device

An image sensor including a pixel array section in which a plurality of pixels including photoelectric conversion units is disposed, and a comparator that compares an analog pixel signal output from the pixels to a predetermined reference signal, and outputs a comparison result according to a signal level of the pixel signal. The comparator includes differential pair transistors, a first load transistor connected in series with a first transistor of the differential pair, and a second load transistor connected in series with a second transistor of the differential pair. The first transistor of the differential pair accepts a signal obtained by combining the pixel signal and the predetermined reference signal as a gate input, the second transistor of the differential pair accepts a predetermined voltage as a gate input. In addition, a capacitance unit is connected between a common connection node of the first transistor of the differential pair and the first load transistor, and a node of the predetermined voltage.

The present technology relates to an amplifier, an audio signal output method, and an electronic device that can inhibit unintended sound output in a class D amplifier that changes a peak value of a PWM signal. The amplifier includes: a positive-side amplitude generating circuit configured to generate positive-side amplitude of an output PWM signal that is a PWM signal to be output outside an apparatus; a negative-side amplitude generating circuit configured to generate negative-side amplitude of the output PWM signal; and a feedback circuit configured to feed back a difference between the amplitude generated by the positive-side amplitude generating circuit and the amplitude generated by the negative-side amplitude generating circuit to the positive-side amplitude generating circuit and the negative-side amplitude generating circuit. The present technology is applicable, for example, to an amplifier or the like of an electronic device such as an audio player.

There is provided a power supply switching circuit including a first control signal output unit that outputs a signal exceeding a predetermined potential using a main power supply as a first control signal when a power supply voltage of the main power supply exceeds a predetermined reference voltage, a second control signal output unit that outputs the signal exceeding the predetermined potential using a standby power supply from a battery as a second control signal when a potential of the first control signal does not exceed the predetermined potential, and a power supply output unit that outputs the main power supply when the first control signal exceeds the predetermined potential and outputs the standby power supply when the second control signal exceeds the predetermined potential.

There is provided a voltage detector including a reference voltage generator that generates a constant reference voltage when a power supply voltage is higher than a predetermined threshold voltage, and a detector that, when the power supply voltage exceeds a voltage that is higher than the threshold voltage by a predetermined potential, detects whether the power supply voltage is higher than a defined voltage based on the reference voltage and outputs a detection result.
