A hybrid core driving device of an embodiment includes: a cylinder tube; a first cover member at one end of the cylinder tube; a second cover member at the other end thereof; a rod in the cylinder tube, having a connecting portion at one end to be connectable to a core and an annular flange on the side of the second cover member, and penetrating the first cover member; a nut fixed to the rod; a screw shaft penetrating the second cover member and the nut and provided to be insertable into the rod; a motor rotating the screw shaft; a piston in the cylinder tube, allowing the rod to penetrate therethrough, and slidable with respect to the cylinder tube and the rod; and a connection portion connectable to a pipe supplying a hydraulic liquid to a region surrounded by the cylinder tube, the first cover member, and the piston.

Hybrid core driving device and molding machine

A run-around circuit makes a hydraulic fluid discharged from a rod-side chamber along with a forward movement of a piston in an injection cylinder flow into a head-side chamber. A servo valve is provided in the run-around circuit and is connected to a tank. In a first state, the servo valve permits flow from the rod-side chamber to the head-side chamber, while prohibits flow from the rod-side chamber to the tank. In a second state, the servo valve prohibits flow from the rod-side chamber to the head-side chamber, while permits flow from the rod-side chamber to the tank. The servo valve can control the flow rate of the hydraulic fluid discharged from the rod-side chamber in each of the first state and second state.

Injection device and molding machine

A die casting machine of an embodiment includes: a holding furnace holding molten metal; a sleeve located outside the holding furnace and having a molten metal supply port passing through a mold; a plunger sliding through the sleeve and including a plunger rod and a plunger tip fixed to a tip of the plunger rod; a molten metal supply pipe pushed against the sleeve to cover the molten metal supply port and supplying the molten metal into the sleeve; and a pushing force variable mechanism reducing a pushing force for the sleeve in the molten metal supply pipe when the plunger is sliding.

Die casting machine

A die casting machine of an embodiment includes: a holding furnace holding molten metal; a sleeve located outside the holding furnace and having a molten metal supply port passing through a mold; a plunger sliding through the sleeve and including a plunger rod and a plunger tip fixed to a tip of the plunger rod; a molten metal supply pipe supplying the molten metal into the sleeve and attachable to and detachable from the molten metal supply port; and a moving mechanism detaching the molten metal supply pipe from the molten metal supply port when the plunger is sliding.

A die casting machine of an embodiment includes: a base; a fixed die plate fixed onto the base and holding a fixed die; a movable die plate provided on the base to be movable in a mold opening and closing direction and holding a movable die to face the fixed die; an injection device filling a molten metal into a cavity formed by the fixed die and the movable die and applying a first pressure to the molten metal; a first pressurizing device pressurizing the molten metal filled in the cavity in a region other than a product region of the cavity and applying a second pressure to the molten metal; and a control device controlling the first pressurizing device so that the second pressure becomes higher than the first pressure.

A molding machine of an embodiment includes: a base; a fixed die plate holding a fixed die; a movable die plate provided on the base and closing direction and holding a movable die to face the fixed die; a toggle mechanism capable of clamping the fixed die and the movable die; a link housing provided on the base and allowing one end of a link of the toggle mechanism to be fixed thereto; a first motor driving the toggle mechanism; a second motor moving the movable die plate and the link housing; an extrusion plate allowing an extrusion pin to appear and disappear in the movable die; a guide bar fixed to any one of the link housing and the movable die plate, penetrating the extrusion plate, and slidably holding the extrusion plate; a positioning member positioning the extrusion plate; a tie bar; and an injection device.

Molding machine

The clamping device has a fixed platen, a moving platen which is movable in an mold opening and closing direction relative to the fixed platen, a tie bar which bridges the fixed platen and the moving platen, a pullout drive device which gives to the tie bar a driving force making the tie bar move to the back side of the fixed platen, and a support mechanism which is provided separately from the pullout drive device and support the load of the tie bar when moving the tie bar.

Clamping device and molding apparatus

A die casting machine has a clamping device and an injection device. The clamping device has a fixed die plate which holds a fixed die, a movable die plate which holds a moving die, an electrically operated die opening and closing-use driving device which moves the movable die plate in a die opening and closing direction, and a clamping cylinder which generates a clamping force. The injection device has a sleeve, a plunger which capable of sliding in the sleeve, an electrically operated injection-use driving device which drives the plunger at least at the time of low speed injection, and an injection cylinder which drives the plunger at least at the time of high speed injection.

Molding apparatus

A molding machine able to detect a burr or other abnormality by detecting the position of tie bars. A control device detects an occurrence of burrs according to whether or not displacement amounts of pistons associated with the tie bars, using position sensors which detect the position of the pistons. The position sensors detect position from the start of injection to the completion of the injection to determine whether detected values are within a permissible range.

Molding machine, clamping system, burr detection method, and abnormality detection method

A clamping system provided with a fixed die plate, a movable die plate, a plurality of tie bars, half nuts able to be coupled with or release coupled parts of a plurality of tie bars, clamping cylinders accommodating pistons of a plurality of tie bars, position sensors detecting positions of pistons, a plurality of direction control valves connected to a plurality of clamping cylinders, and a control unit controlling the plurality of direction control valves so that a difference of movement amounts of pistons among the plurality of tie bars from the time of die contact to the time of the completion of clamping becomes within a predetermined permissible value based on detection results of the position sensors.

Clamping system and clamping method

A clamping apparatus having a simple configuration and capable of opening and closing dies and clamping the dies, which includes a base frame; a fixed die plate; a movable die plate; a rack fixed with respect to the base frame and extending in a die opening and closing direction; a pinion pivotally supported by the movable die plate and meshing with the rack; a motor provided in the movable die plate, driving and rotating the pinion, and moving the movable die plate toward the die opening and closing direction; a tie bar having a jointed portion; a joint portion provided on the movable die plate and capable of engaging and disengaging the jointed portion of the tie bar; and a clamping cylinder provided on the fixed die plate and imparting tension to the tie bar with the joint portion and the jointed portion jointed to generate clamping force.

A die opening and closing system includes a fixed die plate holding a fixed die, a moveable die plate holding a moveable die able to move in a horizontal die opening and closing direction with respect to said fixed die plate, only one ball-screw feed mechanism moving said moveable die plate in a die opening and closing direction, and only one balance cylinder system reducing a load of said ball-screw feed mechanism and a die opening and closing method related to the same.

Die opening and closing system and die opening and closing method

A die clamping system enabling reduction of the size of a tie bar withdrawing mechanism, that is, a die clamping system provided with a fixed die plate, a moveable die plate, tie bars withdrawable from the fixed die plate, moveable parts engaging with the tie bars, withdrawal cylinders moving the moveable parts provided in the moveable die plate in a withdrawing direction, and a hook system engaging the moveable parts and the tie bars. When a second coupled part and a second coupling part are coupled, a drive mechanism moves said moveable die plate to a die opening direction and afterwards releases the coupling of the second coupled part and the second coupling part. When a coupling is formed by the hook system, the withdrawal cylinders move the moveable parts to a withdrawing direction.

Die clamping system

To provide a mold clamping apparatus able to suppress spout of a molding material from between mating faces of dies and to extend the lifetime of the dies. A mold clamping apparatus has a control apparatus deciding a distribution of a load divided by a plurality of tie bars based on information concerning to the die and controlling pressure of driving oil of a cylinder chamber of each cylinder for mold clamping independently to become a load having a determined distribution.
