The invention relates to a supply pump embodied as a side channel pump, whereby several sections (-) forming the cross-section of a supply chamber () each comprise radii. The origins of the external radii are arranged on the front face of a pump housing facing the one rotor. The sections (-) comprise common tangents in the adjacent regions thereof. A particularly high efficiency for the supply pump can thus be guaranteed.

Supply pump

The invention relates to a pump unit arranged in an inner tank () of a fuel tank, comprising a fuel pump () which is used to pump fuel to the internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle; an ejector pump () which is connected to the fuel pump () and used to pump fuel out of the fuel tank into the inner tank (); and at least one filter element () which is used to filter fuel, wherein a housing part which is connected to the fuel pump () is provided with at least one channel () for guiding said fuel. In order to simplify the structure of the pump unit () and to enable substantial pre-assembly, the housing part () is configured in such a way that it can hold the at least one filter element (), and the channel () is exclusively guided inside the housing part () from the ejector pump () and/or the fuel pump () to the filter element ().

A connecting element () for an electric motor () of a fuel feed unit of a motor vehicle has a molded component () which is fabricated in one piece with a connecting contact () and a guide for a carbon brush. The molded component () is fabricated from sheet metal and can be inserted in a premounted form into a receptacle () of the connecting element ().
