A method of preparing isopropyl alcohol, where a propylene monomer and water are reacted in a reactor to produce a reaction product including isopropyl alcohol, and the reaction product stream is separated into unreacted propylene monomer and isopropyl alcohol with high purity using an absorption column, a first gas purification column, a second gas purification column, and an inert gas removal column.

A method of preparing isopropyl alcohol including: supplying a feed stream including a propylene monomer and water to a reaction unit and reacting the propylene monomer and water to produce a reaction product including isopropyl alcohol, the propylene monomer, and the water; supplying a first discharge stream including a gaseous reaction product and a second discharge stream including a liquid reaction product from the reaction unit to a stripper; and in the stripper, circulating an upper discharge stream including the propylene monomer to the reaction unit and supplying a lower discharge stream including water and isopropyl alcohol to an isopropyl alcohol purification unit, where the first discharge stream is condensed by a first heat exchanger and supplied as a liquid phase to the stripper.

A method for preparing isopropyl alcohol including: feeding a feed stream containing a propylene monomer and water to a reaction unit, where the propylene monomer and the water react to form a reaction product containing isopropyl alcohol, the propylene monomer, and the water; feeding each of a first discharge stream and a second discharge stream discharged from the reaction unit to a stripper, where the first discharge stream contains a vapor-phase reaction product, which is condensed through a first heat exchanger and fed to the stripper in a liquid-phase, and wherein the second discharge stream contains a liquid-phase reaction product; and separating a top discharge stream and a bottom discharge stream from the stripper, wherein the top discharge stream contains the propylene monomer and the bottom discharge stream contains the water and the isopropyl alcohol.

A system for producing phenol and bisphenol A comprising: a first production unit for producing phenol comprising a decomposition reaction unit and a purification unit; a second production unit for producing bisphenol A comprising a reaction unit and a concentration unit; and a removal unit for removing methanol and acetone during the production of phenol and bisphenol A. The removal unit includes a removal column comprising an overhead purge part, a bottom recirculation part and a supply part. The supply part comprises a purification unit discharge part to supply methanol, acetone, and water discharged from the purification unit to the removal column and a concentration unit discharge part to supply phenol, acetone, and water discharged from the concentration unit to the removal column, and is provided to the midsection of the removal column.
