The invention mainly concerns a coiling procedure of a stator for a multiphase electrical rotating machine: the said stator comprising grooves, each intended to take up an uneven number of conductors of a coil, the said coil comprising two systems, each comprising one group of conductors (C-C, C'-C&#x2032;) respectively, the said procedure comprises stages of installation of the conductors (C-C, C&#x2032;-C&#x2032;) into the said grooves, repeated in order to form a coil comprising several turns (S-S) completed alternately according to a first direction of rotation (K) and according to a second direction of rotation (K) opposite the first direction of rotation, with the characteristic that at least two changes of direction of rotation (CH-CH) from one turn to the other are carried out in different angular zones.

The invention proposes a stator for a rotating electric machine, in particular for a motor vehicle, the stator () including: &#x2014;a body () including notches () that are opened radially into an internal wall () of said body, &#x2014;at least one winding () forming a phase of the stator, the winding formed from turns () includes a first half-phase () and a second half-phase () that are superposed radially in the notch (), each turn including a series of axial strands () that are received in a series of associated notches and connecting strands () that connect the successive axial strands () by extending alternatively to protrude with respect to the body (). A length of wire of each turn of one of the half-phases is larger than the length of wire of each turn of the other half-phase. Furthermore, one of the half-phases has a number of turns higher than that of the other half-phase.
