The disclosure relates to a traction network for a motor vehicle, wherein the traction network comprises at least one high-voltage battery, an inverter, an electric machine, a DC charging terminal, and an AC charging terminal, wherein a rectifier and a DC/DC converter are arranged between the AC charging terminal and the high-voltage battery, wherein a DC/DC converter is arranged between the high-voltage battery and the inverter.

Approaches, techniques, and mechanisms are disclosed for packaging electric power components. A power module comprises: a three-dimensional (3D) cooling structure that has a plurality of planar sides; a first set of mountable power components that are mounted on a first planar side in the plurality of planar sides of the 3D cooling structure; a second set of mountable power components that are mounted on a second planar side in the plurality of planar sides of the 3D cooling structure. The second planar side represents an opposing side, of the 3D cooling structure, to the first planar side. The 3D cooling structure includes an interior space containing one or more cooling channels in which cooling fluid is to flow. The interior space of the 3D cooling structure is spatially surrounded by other planar sides in the plurality of planar sides in combination with the first and second planar sides.

The invention relates to a device for converting voltage comprising a converter and a controller, wherein the converter has three half bridges, each with four transistors, and at least one half bridge has two switching elements, wherein by means of a first switching element, a central tap between two diodes is connected in a first switched position to a neutral point of a DC link capacitor and, in a second switched position, to a positive charging connection for an external DC voltage source, and by means of a second switching element, a central tap of the half bridge is connected in a first switched position to a pole of an AC voltage connection, and in a second switched position to a negative pole of a DC voltage connection.
