An aircraft propulsion system comprising a propeller, a plurality of electric motors, a transmission system configured to couple the electric motors to the propeller, and a propeller pitch adjustment system positioned at the rear of the transmission system. At least one of the electric motors is positioned in front of the transmission system. A connection structure is interposed between the propeller and the transmission system, the connection structure and the output shaft of the transmission system connected to the propeller being configured so that no electric motor positioned in front of the transmission system interferes with the propeller. Also an aircraft with such a system.

A propeller-type propulsion system for aircraft, comprises a propeller, a plurality of electric motors comprising nested coaxial respective driveshafts, and a gearbox having an output shaft onto which the propeller is mechanically coupled, and an input shaft to which the coaxial driveshafts of the electric motors are mechanically coupled. As a result, the diameter of the propulsion system, in a plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the propeller, is reduced. This improves the aerodynamics and the fuel consumption of the aircraft.

Propeller-type propulsion system for an aircraft

A device for coupling a propulsion system to an engine pylon of an aircraft, the device comprising a baseplate comprising a base suitable for being fastened to the propulsion system, and a first wall extending substantially perpendicularly to the base. The first wall of the baseplate interacts with first and second sleeves, a pair of flanges and a fasteners to the engine pylon. The fasteners comprise two adjacent fastening screws extending parallel to each other.

A joint for aircraft electrical pack or battery pack for attaching the electrical pack to an aircraft component is disclosed. The electrical pack includes a surface having a dovetail dowel integrally formed thereon, and a dovetail rail is attached to the aircraft component. The electrical pack is mounted and assembled to the aircraft component by securing the dovetail dowel to the dovetail rail forming a dovetail joint. The aircraft component may be an engine pylon.

Reinforced lattice structure and aircraft comprising at least one such structure

A propeller-type propulsion system for aircraft comprising a propeller, a plurality of electric motors and a gearbox. The gearbox has an output shaft onto which the propeller is mechanically coupled, and has an input shaft onto which the plurality of electric motors is mechanically coupled, the input shaft being off-center with respect to the output shaft. All of the electric motors are mechanically coupled one after the other along the input shaft such that the electric motors are at least partially integrated into a space, on the opposite side of the gearbox from the propeller, that is left free owing to the input shaft and the output shaft being off-center with respect to one another. As a result, the diameter of the propulsion system, in a plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the propeller, is reduced. This improves the aerodynamics and the fuel consumption of the aircraft.
