A detector in embodiments includes a processor. The processor acquires an image including a face of a person. The processor acquirer depth information of the face in the image from a distance measuring module. The processor sets a deficient area indicating an area where the depth information fails to be acquired. The processor detects the face area from the image. The processor acquires a reference image generated based on a probability set to the deficient area in the image, and calculates a degree of similarity between the face area where the deficient area is set and the reference image. The processor determines whether the image is impersonation based on the degree of similarity.

A second acquirer acquires a first parameter representing a body type of the first subject. A receiver receives identification information on clothing to be tried on. An identifier identifies a clothing image associated with a second parameter of which dissimilarity with the first parameter is not larger than a threshold, from among clothing images associated with the received identification information in first information in which clothing sizes, second parameters, and clothing images are associated with each piece of identification information. A selection unit determines whether there is an image pair, in which error in the three-dimensional position becomes smaller than the error calculated by the second calculator, from among image pairs of the plurality of images, when there is an image pair, selects the image pair, and when there is no image pair, decides on the three-dimensional position.
