A refrigeration cycle system includes a refrigeration cycle apparatus and a refrigerant storage portion. The refrigeration cycle apparatus includes an indoor unit, an outdoor unit, a gas-side connection pipe, and a liquid-side connection pipe. The refrigerant storage portion stores the refrigerant present inside a refrigerant circulation path. The refrigerant storage portion communicates with the refrigerant circulation path through a first storage portion pipe and a second storage portion pipe. The first storage portion pipe causes a first refrigerant pipe of an outdoor refrigerant flow path and the refrigerant storage portion to communicate with each other, or causes the gas-side connection pipe and the refrigerant storage portion to communicate with each other. The second storage portion pipe causes the second refrigerant pipe of the outdoor refrigerant flow path and the refrigerant storage portion to communicate with each other.

Refrigeration cycle system and refrigerant recovery apparatus

An outdoor expansion valve is provided for a liquid side pipe of an outdoor circuit. The outdoor circuit is provided with a liquid side bypass pipe that allows the liquid side pipe to communicate with a suction side of a compressor. Receiving a signal indicating that a refrigerant has leaked from an indoor circuit, an outdoor controller executes a refrigerant recovery control operation of operating the compressor with a liquid side control valve closed, and executes a valve control operation of opening a liquid side bypass valve of the liquid side bypass pipe in the refrigerant recovery control operation. As a result, the refrigerant can be recovered from an utilization-side circuit to a heat-source-side circuit while avoiding damage to the compressor, and the amount of refrigerant leaking from the utilization-side circuit can be reduced.

Refrigeration apparatus

An air conditioner includes a refrigerant circuit which connects an outdoor circuit and a plurality of indoor circuits connected in parallel. The air conditioner includes a leak detection section which detects leak of a refrigerant from the indoor circuits, and a control section which circulates the refrigerant to perform a refrigeration cycle when the leak detection section detects leak of the refrigerant such that the refrigerant in the indoor circuits of the refrigerant circuit is at a low pressure. Providing the control section in the air conditioner can reduce the leak of the refrigerant from the indoor circuit at low cost.

A refrigerant circuit ( ) is formed by connecting, in series and in the order given, a compressor ( ), a four-way selector valve ( ), an outdoor heat exchanger ( ), an expansion valve ( ), and an indoor heat exchanger ( ) by a gas side pipe ( ) and a liquid side pipe ( ). The refrigerant circuit ( ) is charged with an R32 single refrigerant or with an R32/R125 mixed refrigerant in which R32 is present in an amount of not less than 75 wt. %. A dg/dl ratio, which is the ratio of the inside diameter dg of the gas side pipe ( ) to the inside diameter dl of the liquid side pipe ( ), is so set as to fall in the range of 2.1 to 3.5 when the cooling rated capacity is more than 5 kW but not more than 9 kW whereas when the cooling rated capacity is not more than 5 kW or more than 9 kW the dg/dl ratio is so set as to fall in the range of 2.6 to 3.5.

Refrigerating device

Formed in a valve main body ( ) is a refrigerant flow path ( ) for lowering the amount of flow of a refrigerant which flows into an internal space ( ) of a casing ( ) from a refrigerant flow path ( ) through a needle fit/insert clearance ( ) defined between a needle fit/insert aperture ( ) and a needle ( ) inserted into the needle fit/insert aperture ( ). When, with the rise or drop in refrigerant pressure, refrigerant flows through the needle fit/insert clearance ( ), adhesion of sludge included in the refrigerant to the wall surface of the needle fit/insert clearance ( ) is reduced by a lessened amount of refrigerant flow in the needle fit/insert clearance ( ) by the refrigerant flow path ( ). This therefore prevents, as far as possible, malfunction of the needle ( ) due to sludge adhesion, thereby ensuring proper operation of the needle ( ).

Motor-driven needle valve for refrigerating circuit and refrigerating device with the motor-driven needle valve

There are provided a refrigerating machine oil which can easily remove a sludge generated in a refrigerant circuit and is easy to return to a compressor and a refrigerator employing the same. A refrigerating machine oil obtained by mixing an alkylbenzene oil and an ether oil is employed in a refrigerant circuit. A sludge generated on an inner surface of a small-diameter portion of a capillary ( ) is exfoliated and removed by the alkylbenzene oil while maintaining lubricating performance of a compressor ( ) with the ether oil that is well dissolved in an HFC refrigerant, thereby preventing capillary clogging.

Refrigerating machine oil and refrigerator using the same

A refrigerant circuit ( ) in a casing ( ) is charged with a slightly flammable R3 refrigerant whose specific gravity is greater than that of air. The inside of the casing ( ) is zoned into a utilization side air passageway ( ) and a heat source side air passageway ( ). An evaporator ( ) and a condenser ( ) are disposed in the utilization side air passageway ( ) and in the heat source side air passageway ( ), respectively. The utilization side air passageway ( ) communicates with the inside of a room through ducts ( ). Formed in a lower potion of the casing ( ) is a slit-like opening portion ( ). The opening portion ( ) opens to a lower portion of the utilization side air passageway ( ). Leaking refrigerant from the refrigerant circuit ( ) travels downwardly by gravity and is automatically discharged, through the opening portion ( ), to outside the casing ( ).

Air conditioner

The present invention provides means for selecting a direct drive type electrically driven expansion valve (Z). The present invention includes a compressor ( ), an external heat exchanger ( ), a direct drive type electrically driven expansion valve (Z), and an internal heat exchanger ( ). The rating torque equivalent friction factor E of the direct drive type electrically driven expansion valve (Z) is set to 0.31 or more.
