An air treatment device includes: a casing having an inlet through which air is drawn, and an outlet out of which the air drawn through the inlet is blown; a blade configured to adjust a direction of the air blown out of the outlet; and a generator configured to generate an antimicrobial element that sanitizes the blade. The blade has a first surface, and a second surface opposite to the first surface. The blade is shiftable between a first position in which the antimicrobial element is provided to the first surface and a second position in which the antimicrobial element is provided to the second surface.

Air treatment device

A drain pan includes a light-transmissive member forming at least part of the drain pan and is for transmitting ultraviolet light emitted from a light source. The light-transmissive member has a light-emitting surface that is exposed to the inside of the drain pan and from which ultraviolet light that has been transmitted through the light-transmissive member is emitted.

Each protrusion () of a first electrode () is formed to have a long plate-like shape extending across a plurality of grid holes () of the first electrode (). An operational air conditioning mode is allowed to set to a temperature uniformization mode and a spot air conditioning mode, and is selectively switched between these modes automatically by a control means () or manually. In such an embodiment, a comfortably air-conditioned state is obtained in all the areas of a space to be air-conditioned W during air conditioning performed in the temperature uniformization mode, and the comfort is ensured by intensively air-conditioning the surroundings of a person during air conditioning performed in the spot air conditioning mode. At the same time, since an unnecessary air conditioning is not provided to a region without the presence of a person, energy conservation is improved, for example, and thus the comfort of air conditioning and energy conservation are both achieved.
