Provided are a radio communication system and user device that enable smooth interworking in a radio resource control (RRC) layer in the case of implementing interworking between systems by LTE assisted 5G, 5G assisted LTE, or the like. The radio communication system includes an eNBconforming to LTE and a 5G-BSconforming to 5G. The eNBincludes an RRC function unitthat performs control based on LTE-RRC, which is an RRC protocol in LTE. The 5G-BSincludes an RRC function unitthat performs control based on 5G-RRC, which is the RRC protocol in 5G. The RRC function unithas at least a function not specified in LTE-RRC.

Radio communication system and user device

A master node is disclosed including a controller that determines a number regarding a measurement capability of a terminal in a second radio access scheme, wherein the terminal communicates with a secondary node of the second radio access scheme together with the master node of a first radio access scheme; a transmitter that transmits the number regarding the measurement capability of the terminal in the second radio access scheme to the secondary node; and a receiver that receives from the secondary node a response indicating that the secondary node admits the number regarding the measurement capability of the terminal, wherein the controller controls a measurement operation performed by the terminal based on the response. Base station and measurement capability determination method

A user apparatus that communicates with a base station apparatus is provided. The user apparatus includes a reception unit configured to receive, from the base station apparatus, an indication for an individual random access preamble, information indicating correspondence to non-contention based random access procedure, and a random access response; a transmission unit configured to transmit the individual random access preamble to the base station apparatus; and a control unit configured to, in response to receiving the random access response to the individual random access preamble, the random access response being transmitted from the base station apparatus, determine whether the random access procedure has been successfully completed based on the information indicating correspondence to the non-contention based random access procedure.

User apparatus and base station apparatus

A core network is disclosed that includes a flow control unit that switches a path of a data flow having a flow identifier and a flow priority from a first base station to a second base station and an end marker generating unit that generates, for each tunnel, an end marker of a data flow transferred from the first base station to the second base station via a tunnel. One aspect of the present invention relates to a base station including a data flow reception unit configured to receive a data flow having a flow identifier and a flow priority via one or more tunnels and a data flow mapping unit configured to map the received data flow to a radio bearer in accordance with mapping based on one or more of the flow identifier, the flow priority and the tunnels.
