A vehicle opening/closing body control device includes: an assist control unit that applies a voltage to a motor which drives an opening/closing body of a vehicle so as to perform an assist opening/closing actuation that assists a manual operation force with respect to the opening/closing body for performing an opening/closing actuation of the opening/closing body; and an actuation finish determination unit that determines whether or not a finish condition of the assist opening/closing actuation is satisfied, based on a change amount of an opening/closing speed of the opening/closing body per unit time, in which the assist control unit stops applying the voltage to the motor in a case where the finish condition of the assist opening/closing actuation is satisfied.

Vehicle opening/closing body control device

A child protector mechanism includes a base member, a first lever, a second lever, a bush arranged between the first lever and the second lever, a child protector lever for moving the bush to an unset position or a set position, and a position retaining mechanism provided between the first lever and the bush. The bush is retained at each of the unset position and the set position by the position retaining mechanism provided between the first lever and the bush. Therefore, when assembling the bush and the first lever to the base member, the bush is retained at a predetermined position (for example, unset position) with respect to the first lever so that the bush does not move. Thus, the easiness of assembly of the bush and the first lever and the easiness of assembly of the child protector lever are excellent.

Child protector mechanism

Provided is a position holding device for a rotating lever, which includes a rotating lever and a torsion spring, and is capable of elastically holding the rotating lever at the two positions including a first position and a second position. The torsion spring includes a coiled part, and a first arm part and a second arm part each extending from the coiled part and facing each other across an engagement portion of the rotating lever. The first arm part includes a mountain portion formed at an intermediate portion thereof. The second arm part includes an urging portion. As a result, an urging force generated by the urging portion can be applied to the rotating lever as a braking force against an urging force generated by the mountain portion. Consequently, it is possible to reduce an abutment noise generated when the rotating lever abuts against a stopper member.

A vehicle door latch mechanism includes a resin body, a base plate and a sub base plate nipping this body. The body has an accommodating portion capable of accommodating a latch and a pawl, an insertion groove through which a striker is inserted, a cantilever support portion nipping the striker with a facing inner wall surface, a receiving portion for restricting inclination of the cantilever support portion to a predetermined amount, and a cushion accommodating portion capable of accommodating a cushion for pressing the cantilever support portion toward the striker. A support portion for suppressing a deformation of the receiving portion when a free front end of the cantilever support portion is engaged with the receiving portion is provided in the sub base plate.

Latch mechanism for a vehicle door lock device

A vehicle door lock device includes a latch mechanism having a latch and a pawl, and a lock mechanism having an open lever linked with the pawl. The lock mechanism is combined with the latch mechanism. A latch-side axial support portion is provided in a latch housing of the latch mechanism. The latch-side axial support portion rotatably supports a coil portion of a pawl spring for biasing the pawl toward a default position. A lock-side axial support portion is provided in a lock housing of the lock mechanism. The lock-side axial support portion rotatably supports a coil portion of an open lever spring for biasing the open lever toward a default position. At least part of the latch-side axial support portion overlaps with the lock-side axial support portion, so that pulling out of the open lever spring is prevented by means of the latch-side axial support portion.

Provided is an automotive door latch device, including: a latch pushed to rotate by a striker; a latch return spring for biasing the latch toward a return position thereof; a pawl engageable with the latch to inhibit the latch to pivot in a door opening direction (return position); and a pawl return spring for biasing the pawl toward a return position thereof. A housing part of a body, which houses the latch and the pawl, is opened downward at a position below the pawl on one side of the body. The pawl return spring is assembled to a spring mounting part formed on another side of the body at a position spaced downward from a rotational support part of the pawl, and includes a pawl-side end part that engages with the pawl through a through hole provided in the body. Thus, dust or the like entering the housing part of the body, which houses the latch and the pawl, can be discharged out of the body with higher efficiency.

The child lock mechanism includes: a base member; a first lever; a second lever; and an intermediate member assembled to the first lever and not assembled to the second lever. In a state in which the intermediate member is retained at an unset position, the intermediate member is rotatable relative to the base member, and a rotation center of the first lever relative to the base member and a rotation center of the intermediate member relative to the base member are arranged coaxially with each other.
