A vehicle luminaire may include: an attachment portion which includes a concave portion opening to one end face; a light-emitting module, which includes a substrate and at least one light-emitting element provided on the substrate, provided inside the concave portion; and a plurality of bayonets provided on an outer side surface of the attachment portion. When the attachment portion is viewed from a direction along a center axis of the attachment portion, the bayonets are provided at a predetermined interval. The attachment portion includes an opening portion provided in a region between the plurality of bayonets. An opening dimension of the opening portion is larger than a width dimension of each bayonet.

According to one embodiment, a vehicle lighting device includes a socket; and a light-emitting module provided on one end side of the socket. The light-emitting module includes a substrate having a wiring pattern; a plurality of light-emitting elements that are electrically connected to the wiring pattern and are connected in series to each other; and a plurality of thermistors that are electrically connected to the wiring pattern and are connected in parallel to each other. The plurality of thermistors connected in parallel to each other being connected in series with the plurality of light-emitting elements connected in series to each other.

An end face of the light emitting unit on the opening portion side overlaps with the opening portion in the thickness direction of the lid unit, and is located on the light emitting unit side rather than an end face of the lid unit on a side opposite to the light emitting unit side.

The holding unit holds the light emitting unit. A lighting device controls power to a discharge lamp according to the temperature detected by a lamp sensor, which detects temperature around the discharge lamp. The discharge lamp has an arc tube and an outer bulb between which an airtight space is defined. Therefore, the lamp can be actuated without reduction in luminosity even at low temperatures. Also, the lamp luminosity rises quickly.
