To provide a vehicular display device capable of reducing the number of times save vehicle information is written into a nonvolatile memory. When a vehicle travel end operation is performed, an turns off a first power supply circuit and a second power supply circuit and performs data saving processing before shifting to a power saving mode. In the data saving processing, a part of vehicle information stored in a RAM is separated to be separately stored in a ROM and an in-core RAM (included in an internal memory of a second processor core) to which power is constantly supplied, as save-required-data (save vehicle information).

Vehicular display device

Provided is a vehicular display device that suppresses malfunctioning of a vehicle due to malfunctioning of a touch panel module. This vehicular display device comprises a touch panel module and a control unit, wherein the touch panel module comprises a storage unit for storing calibration data, which is an adjustment parameter for touch coordinate detection, and the control unit comprises a ROM for storing correct calibration data, and a failsafe control means for detecting a malfunction of the touch panel module. After startup of the control unit and before an automatic parking layout screen, which includes an automatic parking execution operation button, which is the malfunction detection subject of the failsafe control means, is displayed on the touch panel module, the failsafe control means executes a first confirmation process for confirming that the calibration data stored in the storage unit is correct.

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a display device for a vehicle which is capable of avoiding NAND flash memory data loss. Provided is a display device for a vehicle, comprising: a display unitwhich displays vehicle information; a NAND flash memorywhich stores, together with an error correction code, data which is related to the display of the display unit; and a control unit (for example, a second control unit) which causes the displayto display the vehicle information using said data. When a load upon the vehicle is low, such as when a switch key for commencing the driving of the vehicle is off, the control unit (for example, a first control unit), as a data loss avoidance process, assesses, with the error correction code, whether an error is present in the data which is recorded in the NAND flash memory. If the error is present in the data, the control unit (for example, the first control unit) corrects the error with the error correction code.

Display device for vehicle

A power supply control device is configured to reduce a current supplying capacity required by a power supply even when power is supplied to a prescribed external device. The power supply control device comprises a first power supply for supplying power to a pointer instrument; a first control unit that operates with power from the first power supply and controls driving of the pointer instrument and supply of power from the first power supply to the pointer instrument; and a second control unit for controlling supply of power from the first power supply to an external memory. Upon receiving a prescribed command, the first power supply stops supplying power to the pointer instrument, and the first power supply starts supplying power to the external memory in response to the stoppage.
