A control device is connectable to a first projection device and a second projection device. The first projection device performs projection onto a projection area to display a first image with a first resolution in the projection area. The second projection device performs projection onto the projection area to display a second image with a second resolution lower than the first resolution in the projection area. Both the first and second images are displayed to display an image based on target image data in the projection area. The control device includes a control unit that controls the display of the first image and the display of the second image based on the target image data. The control unit controls the display of the first image and the second image such that the first image attains gradation almost equal to gradation of the target image data.

Control device, method, and medium controlling display of images

In a display device which has a transparent display with touch operations being carried out from opposite sides thereof, i.e., a front face and aback face, operability of the touch operations can be improved. In display control of graphics data which is constructed to include a first component which assumes a touch operation from either one of the front face and the back face, and a second component which assumes a touch operation from a side opposite to the side from which the touch operation is assumed by the first component, only the first component is first displayed, and after a touch operation with respect to the first component is carried out, a content of the second component is decided according to an instruction inputted by the touch operation, so that the second component is then displayed.

Before a device key generation procedure is updated in response to execution of revocation, a recorded transport stream is decrypted using an unupdated device key and is stored in a memory unit after being re-encrypted. In this manner, broadcast programs that are recorded before the revocation can be viewed while maintaining a copyright protection function.

The present invention provides a receiving apparatus including a device key generating unit which generates a device key, a work key generating unit which generates a work key, a device key storing unit which sequentially stores the generated device key, every time the device key is updated, and a recording unit which stores a digital broadcast signal in a transport stream format, wherein in a case where the device key generating unit cannot generate, from the stored transport stream, a device key necessary for descrambling the stored transport stream when the stored transport stream is to be reproduced, the work key generating unit decrypts an encrypted work key that is obtained from the stored transport stream, using the device key stored in the device key storing unit, and generates a work key.
