Image search conditions that are past search conditions are displayed in an image search history area, and text search conditions are displayed in a text search history area. When a user selects a desired image search condition out of the search conditions displayed in the image search history area, and selects a desired text search condition out of the search conditions displayed in the text search history area, case data that matches the selected image search condition and the text search condition is extracted from a database and displayed in a search result display area.

Case search device and method

A case image search apparatus according to the presently disclosed subject matter includes: an input unit for inputting a diagnostic object image group from an imaging apparatus; an estimation unit for estimating attributes of a diagnostic object image included in the diagnostic object image group on the basis of the diagnostic object image; a calculation unit for calculating a first feature amount which is a feature amount of the diagnostic object image corresponding to the attribute estimated by the estimation unit; and a search unit for searching a database for a similar case image group similar to the diagnostic object image group by comparing the first feature amount with a second feature amount which is a feature amount of a case image included in the case image group stored in the database corresponding to the attribute estimated by the estimation unit.

Case image search apparatus, method and computer-readable recording medium

Case images are registered so as not to cause bias (or partiality or imbalance) in amounts of feature of the case images included in a database of a similar image search system for image diagnosis. Since registration of the case images to the database is controlled according to degrees of similarity of the amounts of feature, it is possible to prevent a lot of similar case images from being included in the search result. Thus, it is possible to reduce possibility of representing a similar search result which may interfere with an accurate diagnosis by a diagnostician.

There is disclosed a label image editing apparatus for editing a label image on a recording media having a data side on which data is recorded, and a label side on which a label image is plotted to visually confirm recording contents on the data side. The label image editing apparatus comprises: a data analyzing section that analyzes data to be recorded on the recording media and/or data to be reproduced from the recording media; and a layout display section that displays, as a layout of the label image, a layout according to an analyzing result by the data analyzing section.
