A method of forming color images comprises forming an original image and duplicating the formed original image on a color photosensitive material having blue-, green- and red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers on a transmission or reflective support. Recording data having a data format corresponding to a predetermined digital recording method is generated and the recording data of two tracks in the digital recording method is continuously recorded in one track on magnetic tape. In addition, in this case, control data indicating the arrangement of the frequencies of pilot signals in each track on the magnetic tape is inverted at an interval of two frames in the NTSC system and of one frame in the PAL system and placed in the recording data.

A silver halide color reversal photographic material comprising a layer capable of imparting interimage effects, this interimage effects imparting layer comprising a lightsensitive silver halide emulsion comprising silver halide grains satisfying the following conditions (i) to (iii). (i) The silver halide grains have an average silver iodide content of more than 6 to 39 mol %. (ii) Grains occupying 60% or more of a projected area of all the silver halide grains are those of triple or greater multiplicity structure having at least one layer of high silver iodide content, the silver iodide content being 8 mol % or more, which layer of high silver iodide content is one formed using silver in an amount of 15 to 80 mol % based on that used in obtaining final grains. (iii) All the silver halide grains have surfaces having an average silver iodide content of 10 mol % or less.

Silver halide color reversal photographic material

A silver halide photographic material comprising a support having coated thereon at least one blue-sensitive layer containing a yellow coupler, at least one green-sensitive layer containing a magenta coupler and at least one red-sensitive layer containing a cyan coupler, wherein on each of the characteristic curves of yellow, magenta and cyan of the silver halide photographic material, 1) the maximum density is not less than 3.0 and the density obtained by subtracting the density of the support from the minimum density is not more than 0.1, 2) the average value of point gamma at various points in the exposure region corresponding to a density value of from not less than 0.5 to less than 1.5 is from not less than 0.85 to not more than 1.15 and the fluctuation width thereof is within .+-.15% of the average value of point gamma in the exposure region, and 3) the average value of point gamma at various points in the exposure region corresponding to a density value of from not less than 1.5 to that 0.3 less than the maximum density is from not less than 1.0 to not more than 1.6 and the fluctuation width thereof is within .+-.15% of the average value of point gamma in the exposure region. The silver halide color photographic material exhibits an excellent tone and color reproducibility with respect to an original.
