The invention provides a rotating electrical machine system in which an air volume of a refrigerant is increased near the center of a rotating electrical machine in the axial direction is improved. The rotating electrical machine includes a rotor and a stator, in which the stator core, laminated electromagnetic steel sheets formed by laminating a plurality of electromagnetic steel sheets in the axial direction are divided into a plurality of sets of packet cores, and between one of the packet cores of the plurality of sets and another packet core adjacent to it, there is formed a duct providing a flow channel of the stator, and in a duct situated at the center side from both ends in the axial direction among the duct, there is a portion of two packet cores facing each other across the duct, a diameter direction length of the two packet cores becoming long.

A turbine exhaust system includes an exhaust hood inner casing that involves the turbine rotor; an exhaust hood outer casing that forms an exhaust hood, together with the exhaust hood inner casing; a flow guide that forms an annular diffuser flow path; and exhaust hood upper part flow guides each of which serves as means for separating annular plane upper part exhaust steam within a range including a vertical upward flow out of exhaust steam radially discharging from the flow guide into the exhaust hood, from other exhaust steam, to thereby introduce the separated steam to the condenser, wherein exhaust steam introduction-side end faces thereof are located further toward the upper side than the horizontal plane containing the central axis of the turbine rotor.

Turbine exhaust system and method for modifying the same

In a steam turbine having a cross-over duct for delivering steam discharged from an intermediate pressure turbine to low pressure turbines, the intermediate pressure turbine provides two outlets for discharging exhaust steam, the low pressure turbine provides two inlets, and the outlets and the inlets are arranged on the same straight line as viewed from a planar direction. One of the outlets and one of the inlets which are close to each other are connected through a cross-over duct, the other of the outlets and the other of the inlets which are far from each other are connected through another cross-over duct, and the cross-over ducts are arranged to be at two stages in the up-down direction.

Steam turbine

A rotating electric machine wherein sub slots serving as cooling fluid ducts in the axial direction are provided at the bottoms of the coil slots formed in the rotor, radial cooling fluid ducts are formed through the field coil of the rotor in the radial direction of the rotor and juxtaposed in the axial direction of the rotor, so as to communicate the sub slots with the air gap, and radial cooling fluid ducts are formed through the stator in the radial direction of the stator and juxtaposed in the axial direction of the rotor, corresponding in position to the radial cooling fluid ducts in the rotor, so as to communicate the inner periphery of the stator with the outer periphery of the stator.

The guide vanes comprise two kinds of guide vanes which are alternately placed in the circumferential direction of a shroud. One kind of the guide vanes have a longer length than the other kind of the guide vanes, in the region which is close to the surface of the hub, but have substantially the same length as the other kind of the guide vanes, in the region which is close to the shroud. The leading edges of the second kind of guide vane are located further downstream in the pump axial direction than the leading edges of the first kind of guide vanes.

A water turbine comprises a runner, guide vanes formed of a plurality of vanes arranged outside the runner in a peripheral direction, each of the vanes being rotatable about a center axis thereof parallel with a rotation shaft of the runner, stay vanes formed of a plurality of vanes outside the guide vanes in a peripheral direction, and a casing covering the outside of the stay vanes, wherein sections of each vane of the guide vanes perpendicular to the center axis are displaced to the rotation direction of the runner from an upper side of the runner to a lower side, under the condition that the guide vanes are shutdown.
