A control device includes: a storage that stores a dialog model in which a question to a user, a reply candidate to the question from the user and a control content of each electronic device are associated with an input query from the user; an acquirer that acquires environmental data in a surrounding of the user; a calculator that, based on the environmental data, calculates environment predicted data to predict environment in the surrounding of the user after elapse of a predetermined period of time in cases where each control content corresponding to the input query is executed; and a question selector that selects a question corresponding to the control content that maximizes data indicative of a degree of comfort of the surrounding environment of the user in cases where each control is executed based on the environment predicted data.

Dialog model for controlling environmental comfort

A vehicular speech recognition system including multiple speech recognition apparatuses and a speech recognition controller is provided. The multiple speech recognition apparatuses are mounted to a vehicle. When speech recognition of an inputted speech is performed individually by the multiple speech recognition apparatuses to provide multiple results of the speech recognition, the speech recognition controller selects and adopts one result of the speech recognition from among the multiple results of the speech recognition based on contents of the multiple results of the speech recognition.

Voice recognition system

A voice recognition apparatus includes a command recognizer and a data recognizer. The command recognizer recognizes a command portion of a voice input and outputs a command based on a voice recognition result of the voice input. The data recognizer recognizes a data portion of a voice inputs and outputs a data based on a voice recognition result of the voice input. The data recognizer further includes a plurality of data-category recognizers respectively using a data-category dictionary for recognizing the data portion of the voice input and outputting a data result. A voice recognition result selection unit of the voice recognition apparatus selects one of the data results from the data-category recognizers based on the command recognized by the command recognizer.

A voice recognition apparatus recognizes speaker's voice collected by a microphone, determines whether a telephone number is grouped into categories based on an inclusion of vocabulary in the telephone number that divides the telephone number into groups such as an area code, a city code and a subscriber number, and displays the telephone number in a display part in a grouped form of the area code, city code and subscriber number.

Voice recognition apparatus and navigation apparatus

The system for performing interactive dialog of the present invention recognizes a question from a user and outputs an answer by a synthesized voice. The system includes; a selection unit for selecting the answer from a database; an evaluation unit for evaluating a dialog between the user and computer and determining whether or not to continue the dialog. The evaluation unit may evaluate a dialog consistency, or dialog circumstance. Further, the selection unit selects and combines on the basis of the determination result the answer with one of a plurality of dialog sentences. The system may further comprises a learning unit for storing a novel answer unknown to the computer, by interrogating the user about the novel answer and further storing the interrogation scenario.
