A water-tight structure of a single sliding door capable of ensuring sufficient watertightness without increasing the measurement of a rise provided on a sill so as to apply an entrance. The single sliding door is composed to provide a movable door on a window frame to be able to move in the opening direction of the door and a stationary door and attachments. A pressure-equalized clearance area is formed between the sill of the window frame of the single sliding door and the stationary door and the attachments provided on the sill, and further an air-tight member is provided to divide the pressure-equalized clearance area and an inside clearance area of the single sliding door. By forming the pressure-equalized clearance area between the inside clearance area and the outside clearance area of the single sliding door in the sill portion, a difference in the pressure between the sill portion and the outside is not produced, so that rain water is exhausted by its dead load, with the result that the watertightness can be certain although a rise is formed to a smaller measurement.

Water-tight structure for sliding door

The present invention provides a connection structure which can freely adjust a connection strength between each stile and rail without increasing the kinds of stiles and rails arranging a door. A door 1A is arranged by engaging connection convex parts 21A and 31A of an upper rail 20 and a lower rail 30 in a connection concave part of a stile 10. In this case, the strength of the connection part of the stile and rail is set by adjusting an engagement dimension of the connection convex parts 21A and 31A in the connection concave part 12A. When the doors of different connection strength are arranged, only adjusting the engagement dimensions is required without the need to manufacture and assemble stiles and rails of different shapes and so on for each strength; therefore the manufacturing cost is reduced with the kinds of stiles and rails required being reduced and each kind of door with different connection strength can be easily arranged.

Connection structure of a framework

A sliding window comprises a window frame composed of upper, lower, and first and second vertical frame members, to which indoor side and outdoor side sashes are mounted. A space continuous around the periphery of the window frame is formed to the outdoor side of the window frame. The space is provided with a port communicating with the outdoor atmosphere, thereby having a pressure equal to an atmospheric pressure. The window frame, the indoor side sash and the outdoor side sash have respectively heat insulating lines continuous around their respective peripheries. The indoor side sash is mounted to the window frame at the indoor side relative to the heat insulating line of the window frame, and the outdoor side sash is mounted to the window frame in such manner that the outdoor side portion relative to the heat insulating line of the outdoor side sash are positioned at the outdoor side relative to the heat insulating line of the window frame and the indoor side portion relative to the heat insulating line of the outdoor side sash is positioned at the indoor side relative to the heat insulating line of the window frame. When the indoor side sash and the outdoor side sash are closed, an air layer is formed at a mating portion between the indoor side sash and the outdoor side sash.
