A urine detection device is disposed to a urine receiving surface of a toilet stool in which urine, diluting water and reagent are mixed by vertically moving a piston in the cylinder of the detection device, the reaction between them is detected by an electrode and the ingredient in urine is detected. Liquid in the cylinder is stirred by a stirring device to blown air into the reagent reservoir, by which oxygen is dissolved in the reagent. Cleaning liquid is sprayed from the nozzle to the electrode for flushing. An opening is disposed to a supporting wall of the toilet stool, through which the cylinder is detached or attached. The electrode is disposed such that its rear end is directed to the opening and detached or attached through the opening.

A constant liquid feeding device of the invention comprises a flow meter for measuring quantity of liquid flowing through a pipe, a valve attached to the pipe, a valve control device attached to the valve for opening and closing the pipe, an operating device having a feeding switch and a learning switch, and a control unit electrically connected to the operating device and the valve control device. The control unit is provided with a first memory, a second memory and a comparing device for comparing data stored in the first and second memories. When the learning switch is actuated, the control unit operates to memorize an amount of liquid flowing through the flow meter in the first memory, wherein the amount of liquid is manually controlled by the valve control device. When the learning switch is not actuated, the control unit checks if the feeding switch is turned on. Only when the feeding switch is turned on, the control unit operates the valve control device to open the valve and to leave the valve open to supply the same amount of liquid memorized in the first memory so that the present amount of liquid can be always supplied.

Constant feed water device

An apparatus for examining urine for certain constituents thereof includes a vertically disposed cylinder for receiving urine therein. The cylinder includes a diametrically enlarged upper portion having an inside diameter which is larger than that of its remaining portion. A piston is vertically movably disposed in the cylinder. If the piston is lowered, urine can be stored in the cylinder. If it is raised, the urine is discharged from the cylinder, except that only a small portion thereof remains in a clearance defined between the piston and the diametrically enlarged portion of the cylinder. If the piston is lowered again, a reagent and water are supplied into the cylinder and mixed with the urine remaining therein. An electrode is connected to the cylinder for determining the concentration of sugar, etc. in the urine which has been mixed with the reagent and water. Disclosed also is a toilet stool having a bowl surface in which the upper end of the apparatus is exposed for receiving urine into the cylinder. The toilet stool including the apparatus can be employed to organize a system for collecting information on health. The system includes a first computer provided near the toilet stool for collecting data, such as the concentration of sugar in the urine, and transferring them, and a second computer which may be installed in a hospital for receiving the data from the first computer and storing them progressively.

A method and an apparatus for measuring the concentration values of constituents of urine collected in a toilet bowl. A conduit extends from the urine-collecting portion of the bowl to a concentration-measuring device. A gas injector is mounted beside the conduit to intermittently inject gas into the conduit, for dividing the urine contained in the conduit into aliquots. The concentration values of urinary constituents of each aliquot are measured.

Water and hot water from a water storage tank and a hot water storage tank, respectively, are mixed in a mixing valve, are pressured up by a pump, and outflow from a shower head. The motor for the mixing valve and the pump are driven so that a signal is output from the controller to the regulator of the motor for altering the mixing ratio of hot water to water in the mixing valve and the regulator of the pump thereby to obtain objective water temperature and water pressure.
