Provided is an image forming method using an electrophotographic photoreceptor provided with a photosensitive layer and a protective layer in this order on a conductive support, and a toner, and the image forming method containing a charging step, an exposure step, a development step, a transfer step, a fixing step, and a cleaning step, wherein the protective layer contains at least a cured resin obtained by curing a polymerizable compound; the toner contains 50% by number or more of toner particles having a shape factor calculated by the equation (1) in the range of 1.2 to 1.6, and a variation coefficient of the shape factor is 16% or less; and the toner contains alumina particles having a number average particle diameter in the range of 5 to 60 nm and silica particles having a number average particle diameter in the range of 80 to 200 nm.

Image forming method

The present invention provides an image forming method for forming a decorated image having a resin layer and a powder contacted with each other, the method including: forming a resin layer on a recording medium; and supplying a powder onto the recording medium, in which the recording medium has a surface with an arithmetic mean height Sa of 1.000 or more.

The present invention addresses at least the problem of providing a method for forming a high-resolution foil image regardless of the hydrophilicity of a recording medium. In order to solve said problem, the present invention provides a method wherein an adhesive ink that is formed by dispersing or dissolving a polymer resin in water and in a water-soluble organic solvent is used as an adhesive for a foil, the adhesive is applied by means of inkjet printing, and a foil image is formed. The polymer resin of the adhesive ink is a polymer of a monomer that includes (meth)acrylic acid and a (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester having a Calkyl group, the acid value of the polymer resin being 50-120 mg KOH/g, and the glass transition temperature of the polymer resin being 30-110&#xb0; C.

A method of transferring a foil comprising: forming a foil transferring face on a photoreceptor employing a foil transferring face forming toner; transferring the foil transferring face onto a base substance, followed by fixing the foil transferring face; supplying a transfer foil having at least a foil and an adhesive layer on the base substance having the fixed foil transferring face, heating the transfer foil and the foil transferring face while the adhesive layer of the transfer foil is in contact with the foil transferring face to adhere the foil onto the foil transferring face; removing the transfer foil from the base substance while leaving the foil adhered onto the foil transferring face, wherein the foil transferring face forming toner comprises at least a binder resin, wherein the binder resin comprises a polymer formed by using a vinyl monomer comprising at least a carboxyl group.

A foil transferring method employing an electrophotography is disclosed, in which a toner used for forming a foil transferring layer contains at least a vinyl based resin and a polyester based resin as a binder resin and an amount of the vinyl based resin is 50 to 95% by weight based on the total amount of the binder resin.

Provided are an image forming method by which an image in which arbitrary glossiness is adjusted to any section is formed, and an image forming apparatus thereof. The non-contact information recording medium is made by forming the antenna circuit and connecting it to the IC module through connection terminals at the same time. This provides a high degree of freedom of patterning of the antenna circuit. The antenna circuit is formed on a recording substrate, in which an IC module has been embedded. A foil-bonding resin layer is formed on the connection terminals of the recording substrate, with a toner containing a binder resin by an electrophotographic method. Provided is an image forming method in which a foil image exhibiting excellent finish without any wrinkle and strong adhesive strength is formed on a foil transferring face made of toner.
