The image processing device includes a feature portion detecting unit configured to detect a feature portion from a frame incorporated in the video having been input, and a setting unit and an image generating unit configured to cause a playback speed of a frame incorporated in the video having been input and including the feature portion detected to be different from a playback speed of a frame including no feature portion detected, and output the video.
