A method for processing of plastic and/or rubber waste to generate energetic gas comprising aliphatic hydrocarbons C-C, carbon oxide and hydrogen, wherein the waste may comprise halogens, sulphur, nitrogen and oxygen and may be contaminated by substances of inorganic origin comprising ceramic and metallic materials, the method comprising processing the waste in a pyrolysis process, wherein a powdered waste material is fed to a microwave drum reactor (), where it is heated by microwaves while being moved through the reactor (), the method comprising: conducting the pyrolysis reaction inside the reactor () at a temperature of 800-950&#xb0; C. to obtain end products comprising gases, dust and a porous char of a large surface area having absorptive properties; separating the char from the other pyrolysis products by deposition; directing a portion, preferably a quarter, of the obtained char to a filter (); directing the dust and gases to a gas cooling apparatus () comprising at least two synchronized screw conveyors, wherein the gases are cooled to a temperature of 120-160&#xb0; C. and wherein the dust and the condensate are directed to the filter () filled with the char; and feeding back the mixture of char, condensate and dust from the filter () to the microwave reactor ().

Method and a system for processing plastic waste

A method for hydrothermal liquefaction of biomass, wherein the biomass supplied by pumps from a tank is provided to a reactor, in which the biomass is heated to obtain reactor products in the form of volatile, liquid and solid fractions, which are separated in a separator. The biomass supplied from the tank is pressurized in pumps, after which it is preliminarily heated in a heat exchanger. The preheated biomass is reheated in the reactor using microwave radiation. The temperature of the biomass inside the reactor is measured using temperature sensors and a controller, and based on the measurements of the temperature sensors and reflectometers, the power of radiation is adjusted to retain the biomass inside the reactor at the temperature ofC. to&#xb0; C.

A method for conversion of a material including asbestos includes: crumbling a fibrous structure of the material such that the material is crumbled into smaller particles; transporting the crumbled material into a microwave reactor and mixing with an agent facilitating heating of the material; heating the crumbled material by beams of focused polarized electromagnetic radiation in a microwave band and maintaining the smaller particles at a temperature for a period of time for structural transformation; removing the heated crumbled material from the microwave reactor and cooling the material; and subjecting the cooled crumbled material to a process of final crumbling.

Method for conversion of materials including asbestos

A method of heating asbestos containing materials and changing their structure from crystal fibrous to that deprived of fiber structure using an electromagnetic field is provided and is characterized by crumbling of utilized material. Crumbled material is being transported to microwave reactor. During transportation and the crumbling process, material chunks are being mixed with a heating facilitating agent. The device includes a utilized materials' crusher (), crumbled material chunks's worm (), heating facilitating agent's feeder () and microwave thermal reactor (). The feeder () is adjoined to the crusher () and/or to the worm (). The reactor () has a heating chamber () made of materials that do not absorb microwave radiation which is located at the transporter's () outlet.
