A freshness label in an embodiment includes a base material having a fluid retention capacity and a phosphor layer on a surface of the base material. The phosphor layer includes an aggregation-induced phosphor. The base material has a porous or mesh structure. The aggregation-induced phosphor comprises a phosphor having a polar functional group or the like. The freshness label can be used to detect spoilage and/or deterioration of fresh food according to changed in fluorescence intensity provided by the aggregation-induced phosphor.

Aqueous inkjet ink

According to one embodiment, an inkjet aqueous ink includes water, a pigment, a water-soluble organic solvent, a poorly water-soluble compound, a solubilizer that solubilizes the poorly water-soluble compound in water, and an acetylene glycol-based surfactant. The poorly water-soluble compound is 2,5,8,11-tetramethyl-6-dodecyne-5,8-diol. The solubilizer is selected from polyoxyethylene anionic surfactants and non-ionic surfactants.

Inkjet aqueous ink

One embodiment of the invention is an emulsion type inkjet ink including water, a pigment, an emulsifier, and an alcohol compound in which the alcohol compound is dispersed in water with the emulsifier. The emulsifier is a polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester compound, and the alcohol compound is a compound including an aromatic ring and having a boiling point of 180&#xb0; C. or higher.

Emulsion type inkjet ink

An embodiment of the invention is concerned with an aqueous inkjet ink containing an ink solvent containing water and a water-soluble organic solvent containing glycerin and triethylene glycol and a pigment dispersed in the ink solvent. An inkjet ink is provided, which includes a pigment dispersion containing an organic dispersant, a black pigment having an average particle diameter of not more than 200 nm, and a resinous dispersing agent, the organic dispersant being formed of at least one polymerizable compound, and the black pigment being included therein at an amount ranging from 2 to 30% by weight based on the organic dispersant, and an ionic compound. A &#x3b6;-potential of the black pigment to the at least one polymerizable compound of the organic dispersant is confined within the range of &#x2212;10 mV to +100 mV.

Inkjet ink

There is provided a pigment dispersion comprising at least one resin-coated pigment comprising a resin and a pigment, and having an average particle diameter of 250 nm or less, and a dispersion medium containing as a major component a cation polymeric compound having a viscosity of 30 mPa&#xb7;s or less at a temperature of 25&#xb0; C. and a boiling point of 150&#xb0; C. or more at 1 atm. The pigment is incorporated in the pigment dispersion at a ratio ranging from 3 to 41% by weight based on a total weight of the dispersion medium, and the resin is incorporated in the resin-coated pigment at a ratio ranging from 5 to 37% by weight based on the weight of the pigment.
