A detecting device of the present invention includes a U-shaped case, a horn disposed in a leg portion of the case and outputting sound waves, a receiver disposed in a leg portion and converting sound waves received from the horn to electric signals having a voltage corresponding to a sound volume of the sound waves, and a comparator which outputs detection signals when voltages of the electric signal from the receiver equal to or are more than a threshold. By outputting the detection signal when the sound waves going out from the leg portion and entering into the leg portion pass through only the liquid, it is judged whether a liquid surface of the liquid stored in a reservoir tank equals to or is higher than a predetermined value.

Detecting device

An automatic developing apparatus is provided with a developing tank, a reserve tank, a pump, a piping which connects the reserve tank and the pump and whose one end is disposed above the developing tank, a first electrode provided in the piping, a second electrode provided within the developing tank, and a sensor which is electrically connected to the first electrode and the second electrode.

A photosensitive material processing apparatus in which a pair of rollers respectively having water absorbing surface layers is disposed downstream of a washing processing section and the rotating shafts of said rollers are urged in the directions in which said rollers approach each other, wherein the thickness of said water absorbing surface layer of at least one roller of said rollers gradually decreases toward end portions of the at least one roller. In this way, since the thickness of the water absorbing surface layer of the at least one roller gradually decreases toward the end portions of said at least one roller, a gap is prevented from occurring between said water absorbing surface layer and said photosensitive material at the central portions of the rollers due to the flexing of the rollers.

Photosensitive material processing apparatus

A photosensitive material processing apparatus is equipped with a drying section in which a photosensitive material processed with a processing solution is conveyed by a plurality of rollers and dried by drying air from a drying air blowing device. In the photosensitive material processing apparatus, a plurality of heating rollers is disposed to form a part of the above-described plurality of rollers and whose surfaces are heated by a heat source. A control means effects on-off control for the heat source during processing of the photosensitive material to set the surface temperature of each of the plurality of heating rollers and to control the drying air blowing device to lower the surface temperature of each of the plurality of heating rollers by the drying air during a standby period. Accordingly, during the standby period, the surface temperature of each of the plurality of heating rollers is lowered forcibly by the drying air, so that overshooting is restricted.

A photosensitive material processing apparatus includes a drying device for drying with drying air a photosensitive material processed with processing solutions; a waste-solution recovering section, having an absorbing material, for recovering waste solutions of the processing solutions discharged from a plurality of processing tanks due to the absorbing material being impregnated with the waste solutions; and a waste-solution drying device having a duct for introducing warm air from the drying device into the waste-solution recovering section and adapted to dry a recovered waste solution. Since the waste solution is dried by the waste-solution drying device after recovery of the waste solutions of the processing solutions, intervals of maintenance provided for the waste-solution recovering section are extended, and the operating efficiency in waste solution processing is improved.

A photosensitive material drying apparatus equipped with a plurality of rollers, which are disposed along a direction of transport of a photosensitive material and form a transport path and which are able to provide heat to the photosensitive material, and a plurality of hot air supplying portions, which blow hot air toward the photosensitive material. The rollers and the hot air supplying portions are disposed such that portions having drying irregularities which occur on surfaces of the photosensitive material, due to the photosensitive material receiving heat from the rollers and from hot air blown from the hot air supplying portions, in accordance with irregularities in a transport speed of the photosensitive material due to driving irregularities in a substantially uniform cycle of the rollers, are scattered substantially evenly on the surfaces of the photosensitive material along the direction of transport thereof. Unevenness on the surfaces of the finished photosensitive material drying irregularities can thereby be prevented.

Photosensitive material drying apparatus

A replenisher supplying apparatus for use in a photographic processor having a processing tank to which pieces of a photosensitive material are consecutively transported for processing, so as to supply replenishers to the processing tank. The apparatus includes stock tanks to which the replenishers are respectively supplied and which are respectively provided with level sensors; pumps for supplying the replenishers from the stock tanks to the processing tank; a controller arranged such that when it is detected by any of the level sensors that the liquid level is at a predetermined level or below, the controller stops the driving of the pump for the stock tank whose solution level has dropped to the predetermined level or below, while the controller continues to drive the remaining pumps until a drop in the level to the predetermined level or below is detected by the remaining level sensors; and a correcting device for correcting the sending capabilities of the pumps on the basis of the amount of each of the replenishers supplied during each of the continuous driving operations of the pumps driven continuously.
