To provide a controller for a machine tool that can shred shavings in a sure manner, even if a delay in notification occurs at the time of performing oscillation cutting. This controller of machine tools controls the machine tools that perform cutting working of a work by a cutting tool with a spindle and a feed axis operating cooperatively. The controller includes: an oscillation command calculating unit that calculates an oscillation command to cause relative oscillation of the cutting tool and the work, from a rotation speed of the spindle and a positional command of the cutting tool as to the work; a correction amount calculating unit that calculates a correction amount corresponding to an amount of delay notification to the oscillation command calculating unit regarding the rotation speed of the spindle; and a correction amount superimposing unit that superimposes the correction amount on the oscillation command.

The present invention addresses the problem of, when an abnormality has occurred in one detector, switching to feedback control based on a detector in which an abnormality has not occurred. A numerical control device according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes: a reference speed calculation unit configured to calculate a spindle speed which is a rotation number of the spindle in accordance with a machining program, and a feed speed which is a movement speed of the feed axis in accordance with the machining program; an oscillation command calculation unit configured to calculate an oscillation command, which is a periodic variation component superimposed on a command of the feed axis, based on the spindle speed and the feed speed, as well as an oscillation frequency magnification set in advance; a setting acquisition unit configured to acquire an upper limit value for frequency of the oscillation command; and an adjustment unit configured to adjust the frequency of the oscillation command, or adjust at least either of the spindle speed and the oscillation frequency magnification, so that the frequency of the oscillation command does not exceed the upper limit value.

Provided is a servo controller that can prevent an unnecessary cut from being generated during oscillation machining. A servo controller which controls a machine toolthat turns a workpiece W by cooperative operation of a plurality of axes includes: an oscillation command generating unitthat generates an oscillation command for causing the workpiece W and the toolto relatively oscillate; a deviation deducting unitthat applies the oscillation command to a position deviation based on a moving command for causing the workpiece W and the toolto relatively move, and deducts a steady-state position deviation; and a learning control unitthat calculates a compensation amount from a position deviation based on the moving command after deducting the steady-state position deviation.

A numerical control device according to the present invention includes: an upper limit value acquisition unit which acquires an upper limit value for a cutting speed that is a relative speed of the cutting tool to the workpiece; a reference speed calculation unit which calculates a revolution number of the spindle, and a feedrate; an oscillation speed calculation unit which calculates an oscillation speed that is superimposed on the feedrate; a cutting speed calculation unit which calculates the cutting speed based on the revolution number of the spindle, the feedrate and the oscillation speed; and a speed adjustment unit which adjusts at least either one of the revolution number of the spindle and the feedrate, so that a maximum value of the cutting speed calculated by the cutting speed calculation unit does not exceed the upper limit value acquired by the upper limit value acquisition unit.
